Hart kopierende Silbersalzpapiere.
Aus dem D. R. P. Nr. 85121 ist bekannt geworden, dass man durch Zusatz von Forricyansalzen, Chromaten und Chromsäure zu den Präparationen der Silber-KopierPapiere hart kopierende photographische Papiere erhalten kann. die von flauen. kraftlosen Negativen noch kräftige Abdrücke liefern. Diese Papiere haben jedoch den Nachteil, dass es wegen ihrer gelbbraunen Farbe äusserst schwierig ist, den richtigen Kopiergrad festzustellen. Der Kopierende beurteilt bei den gewöhnlichen Papieren das Bild nach seinen Tiefen im Gegensatz zu den kontrastierenden weissen Flächen, die sich aus der durch das Licht noch unveränderten Emulsionsschicht zusammensetzen.
Das Auge ist bei der Prüfung des Kopiergrades an diese Unterschiede so gewöhnt, dass erhebliche Schwierigkeiten bei der Beurteilung eines Bildes erwachsen, das auf einem gelbbraunen Untergrunde anstatt auf dem ublichon weissen kopiert ist. Zudem fordern diese gelbbraunen Papiere ein starkes Uberkopiercn. Ob mehr oder weniger überkopiert worden ist, kann man ebenfalls nur schwer unterscheiden, da schon nach normaler Kopierdauer das Bild auf dem gelbbraunen Untergrund nicht mehr genügend absticht.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man hart kopierende Papiere von weisser Farbe erhalten kann, wenn man den Präparationen der Silbersalzkopierpapiere Vanadinsauren,
