Closure and sack fastening device for grain outlets.
The invention relates to a closure and sack fastening device that can be attached to the grain outlets, in which a lever serving to actuate the closing element is connected to the sack clamp, and consists in that a two-armed lever pivotably attached to the grain outlet carries a wedge piece on the one hand and the closure cover on the other and the former presses in between two jaws, over which the sack rim is placed on the outlet, while at the same time the closure lid is pulled laterally from the outlet opening during this movement of the lever so that the grains can fall into the clamped sack.
The drawing shows in FIGS. 1 and 2 this device in longitudinal section and end view with the outlet closed, while FIGS. 3 and 4 illustrate the same in the same way with the bag attached to the outlet and the closure open.
At the outlet neck a a nose-like projection b is attached to the rear, around which the edge of the bag is placed. The two jaw-like walls c cl protrude from the neck to the front, converging slightly downwards and between which a wedge piece d can be pressed, which is attached to the two-armed hand lever f, which can be rotated in bearing eyes on the outside of the neck a. The second inwardly protruding arm of this lever has hinged the locking lid, which serves to close the grain outlet.
In the position of the hand lever f shown in FIG. 1, in which the outlet is closed, the edge of the sack to be filled is placed around the nose b and the edge is then pulled over the two jackets c cl so that the sack edge that is left free is as can be seen from Fig. 4, depends.
If the edge plate is lifted accordingly by hand and the hand lever f is then turned down from the position Fig. Lm the position Fig. 3, the wedge piece d gets between the jaws c cl and clamps the sack edge lying in its way by holding it at the same time tightly contracts around the outlet neck. By moving the hand lever down, the cover g connected to it is simultaneously moved away from the outlet opening and the bag can be filled. If the sack is full, the outlet is closed by lifting the lever by means of the lid and at the same time the sack edge is released by lifting the wedge.
