Abstract

The mount 7 is fastened on the end wall 2 of the luminaire via a holder 9 which is constructed as a lever that has two arms, bears the mount 7 on one arm and has a knob-like elevation 16 on the free end of the other arm. It also bears a small gripping strip 17 averted from the elevation. Provided on the holder 9 in the middle region on the side of the elevation 16 is a bolt 14 having a head part 15 projecting on two sides beyond the circumferential contour of this bolt. Provided in the end wall 2 of the luminaire is a vertical slot 4 for receiving the bolt 14, also provided are perforations (punchings) 5, which can be arranged discretely or in rows and which serve to receive the elevation 16. The circumferential contour of the perforations 5 and those of the elevations 16 are shaped correspondingly. The longitudinal spar 11 of the holder 9 runs in a bent or cramped (swan-necked) fashion. The holder 9, and thus the mount 7, can be pushed over the length of the vertical slot 4 and also swivelled to the side. The mount 7, and thus the lamp it holds, can therefore adopt different positions with reference to the reflector 3, and so the light distribution of the luminaire can be adapted optimally to the respective lighting conditions in a simple way. <IMAGE>

Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Es zeigen : Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch eine Leuchtstofflampenleuchte mit eingesetzter Fassung und Fig. 2 denselben Querschnitt, jedoch bei entfernter Fassung ; die   Fig. 3,   4 und 5 einen Halter für die Aufnahme der Fassung in Ansicht, Seitensicht und Draufsicht, zum Teil geschnitten und in einem gegenüber der Fig. 1 vergrösserten Massstab ; die Fig. 6 einen Detailschnitt nach der Linie VI-VI in Fig. 4 ; die Fig. 7 einen Vertikalschnitt durch die Leuchte nach   Fig. 1   entlang der Linie VII-VII ; die Fig. 8 und 9 eine Fassung in Ansicht und Seitensicht ; die   Fig. 10,   11 und 12 eine Fassung für eine zweite Ausführungsform der Erfindung in Seitensicht, Ansicht und Rücksicht ;

In diesen Wangen --10--,

The invention relates to a fluorescent lamp with a housing and a
Reflector and sockets arranged in the region of the end wall of the housing for receiving the contact pins of the tubular fluorescent lamp.

The light distribution characteristic of such luminaires depends on the shape of the reflector and on the position of the lamp with respect to this reflector. By changing the position of the lamp in relation to the reflector and / or by changing the reflector cross section, different light distributions can be achieved in order to optimally adapt the lamp to the respective purpose and place of use.

Luminaires with different reflector cross sections were developed for this optimal adaptation.

The invention now aims to design a fluorescent lamp luminaire of the type mentioned in such a way that one and the same luminaire can easily meet different requirements in terms of light distribution without having to replace or change the reflector
Way can be customized. To achieve this object, the invention proposes that a bolt is provided on the rear wall of the socket facing the end wall of the housing, with a head portion projecting laterally beyond the circumferential contour of the bolt at least on two diametrical sides and these bolts have a slot-like recess in the end wall of the Housing is received and the head part of the bolt is pressed against the end wall by a spring provided on the side of the socket, preferably a leaf spring.

In order to illustrate the invention, exemplary embodiments are explained in more detail with reference to the drawings, without thereby restricting the invention to these exemplary embodiments.

1 shows a cross section through a fluorescent lamp luminaire with the socket inserted, and FIG. 2 shows the same cross section, but with the socket removed; 3, 4 and 5 a holder for receiving the socket in a view, side view and top view, partly in section and on an enlarged scale compared to FIG. 1; 6 shows a detail section along the line VI-VI in Fig. 4. 7 shows a vertical section through the lamp according to FIG. 1 along the line VII-VII; 8 and 9 a version in view and side view; Figures 10, 11 and 12 a version for a second embodiment of the invention in side view, view and rear view.

13 shows a cross section through a second fluorescent lamp light with a view against the end wall, but without the socket inserted, and FIG. 14 shows a vertical section through the end wall according to FIG. 13 with the socket inserted.

Fig. L illustrates a cross section through a fluorescent lamp with the fluorescent lamp removed. This fluorescent lamp has a box-like housing --1--, which is closed at the end by a front wall --2-- and in which a reflector --3-- is shaped like a gutter. The level of the light exit opening is designated with --E--.

arranged, circular punchings --5--. The cloverleaf-shaped curve --6-- shown with a dash-dotted line in FIG. 2 represents the envelope curve within which the frame --7-is adjustable. This version --7-- is shown in view and side view in FIGS. 8 and 9.

Nose-like projections --12-- are provided on the lateral boundary surfaces of the holder --7--. The connecting wires --8-- can be inserted into the socket. Versions --7-- of the type shown here are commercially available and are offered by retailers under the collective name "Installation versions".

A holder --9-- is now provided for fastening the holder --7-- to the end wall --2-- of the fluorescent lamp, which is shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 in a view, side view and top view. This holder --9-- is designed as a two-armed lever and it has a fork-like part with two cheeks --10-- spaced from each other, which are connected to each other via a rear wall --21-- and the cheeks --10-- longitudinal spar continuing down the middle --11--. The cheeks --10-- are formed by rectangular disks (Fig. 4 and 5) which, when the holder --9-- is used in a functionally correct manner, are essentially at right angles to the front wall --2-- of the fluorescent lamp. In those cheeks --10--,

The desired setting is expediently already provided by the factory if the area of application and the place of use of the lamp is known, but the setting can also be changed on site or readjusted.

In the embodiment shown, the two-armed holder is --9-- with a fork-like
Approach to include the version --7-- designed. It would be quite conceivable, the side
Leave cheeks --10-- out and only keep the surface --21-- lying in the paper plane (Fig. 3), on which the frame --7-- then lies with its back and is attached to it. This could be done using an adhesive, for example.

The use of a holder for the socket, as it may be designed in the specific case, is always expedient if the lamp is mounted on ceilings or walls that are subject to vibrations or vibrations, for example in factory halls in which machines are running. For lights that are not subject to such shocks or constant
Exposed to fibrations, the inventive idea can also be implemented in a simpler form. This is shown in FIGS. 10 to 14.

Here the bolt --14-- with the projecting head section --15-- is provided directly on the back of the socket --7--. In the front wall --2-- of the housing --1-- (Fig. 13) there is an arcuate slot --4-- in which this bolt --4-- is inserted (Fig. 14). There is one between the front wall --2-- and the back wall of the frame --7--
Leaf spring --22-- inserted, which holds socket and end wall --2-- together under elastic pretension. Compared to the first described construction, this is extremely simplified.

In the case of cheap luminaires, this embodiment can also be used under certain circumstances.
