  Leibbinde.

  Abdominal bandage.

The present invention relates to an abdominal bandage which, when worn on the body, as a result of the fixation of the intestines, prevents the occurrence of nuisances due to continued vibrations, such as occur during sea and train journeys, as well as in cap balloons and the like.

The device basically consists of an abdominal bandage, which is provided on the inside with an adjustable, inflatable rubber pad, shaped to match the soft tissue of the body.

One of the embodiments is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

A belt (a) has a rubber pad (b) on its inside which can be inflated by means of a hose (e). The intestines are prevented from moving by the pressure of the pad.

The embodiment depends on the size, shape and gender of the person concerned. The abdominal bandage can also be used advantageously for hernias.
