Abstract
A tank for liquids, in particular for sewage, which is intended for introduction into a trench which is subsequently filled in, is constructed from two half- shells A and B and a connector C positioned thereon. Each of the two half-shells A, B has a load-bearing inner shell 1 which is made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic and to which an insulating layer 2 made of polyurethane foam is adhesively bonded. An outer laminate 3 is located over the insulating layer 2. The tank, while being of low weight, has a high level of resistance. <IMAGE>
Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to a container for liquids, in particular for waste water, for introduction into a subsequently filled construction pit, consisting of an inner shell, one
Interlayer and an outer laminate.
The outer surface of such containers must be able to withstand relatively high loads in order to prevent the movement and displacement of e.g. B. to withstand sharp stones occurring blows. This requires a relatively high weight, which makes moving difficult. Heavy weights have a greater impact, particularly in the mountains, since the containers are transported or moved there by helicopter. In order to reduce the stresses that occur during filling, sand is even brought up in the mountains by helicopter, which sand is used for filling, so that no damage from boulders and the like. Like. is to be feared. However, such helicopter transports significantly increase the cost of moving the container.
In the mountains, increased attention should also be paid to ensuring that the container is moved frost-proof.
AT-PS No. 362559 describes a container which consists of a seamless, glass fiber-reinforced inner container, a medium-sized concrete container and a glass-fiber reinforced outer wall. As a result of the medium-sized concrete container, the entire container is so heavy that it would be difficult to move, especially in the mountains.
The invention therefore has set itself the goal of a container of the aforementioned
Form in such a way that a low resistance to the above-mentioned loads is achieved with a low weight and that there is also a high level of frost protection.
This goal is achieved in that the inner shell is designed to be load-bearing and the intermediate layer is a soft insulation layer. In the case of a container according to the invention, the soft insulation layer dampens any impacts caused by stones, rocks and the like. Like. And also causes thermal insulation.
The supporting inner shell can thus be made much lighter than before, so that considerable weight savings are achieved.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the supporting inner shell consists of glass fiber reinforced plastic in a manner known per se. The insulation layer expediently consists of polyurethane foam.
For manufacturing reasons, it is advantageous to construct the container in several parts. In order on the one hand to achieve high strength in the area of the joints and on the other hand to achieve adequate thermal insulation, the outer laminate is led to the inner shell in the area of the joints, the groove formed being filled with foam which is covered with a connecting laminate.
The invention is described in more detail below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawings, the drawing representing half of an approximately spherical container according to the invention.
The container shown in the drawing is made up of two half-shells --A and B- and a nozzle --C--. Each of the two half-shells --A, B-- has a load-bearing one
Inner shell-l-made of glass fiber reinforced plastic with which an insulation layer --2-- made of polyurethane foam is glued. Above the insulation layer --2-- there is an outer laminate --3--, which in a preferred embodiment is constructed in two layers.
In the area of the joint --4-- the outer laminate --3-- is led to the inner shell -l-.
The resulting groove is filled with polyurethane foam --6--, whereby this foam - is covered with a connecting laminate --5--.
