To be able to optimally adjust the material to be dewatered, the design is advantageously made such that the rollers or rollers are fixed in the frame in an adjustable manner independently of the grating sections, and that the pressing forces of the rollers or rollers are adjustable independently of the grating sections. The construction can preferably have its own subframe for the rollers, the rollers preferably being mounted in a frame that is adjustable on the frame for the grating sections.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawings. 1 shows a schematic side view of a conventional screen belt press, in which gratings or perforated plates are used to support or support the screen belts; 2 shows the run-up area for the material to be dewatered in accordance with another conventional embodiment, in which only rollers or rollers are used to support the sieve belts; 3 schematically shows the arrangement according to the invention; 4 shows an enlarged partial area of a frame for the support of the lower sieve belt in the wedge zone, and FIG. 5 shows an enlarged detail from FIG. 4.
In Fig. 1 a belt press --1-- is shown enlarged. Rollers or rollers are mounted in a frame --2 - over which two separate, endless, self-contained sieve belts --3 and 4-- are guided. The material to be dewatered is fed in at --5 - and the material first reaches the sieve belt --3--, which passes through a sieving zone. The sieve belt --3-- is fed back via a deflection roller --6-- and 7 - brought together with the second sieve belt --4-- in the wedge zone. In the illustration according to FIG. 1, a grating is provided both in the sieving zone and in the wedge zone --7-- as support for the sieve belt --3 or 4-- located below.
The combined and subsequently guided sieve belts pass through a series of dewatering rollers --8-- to discharge --9--, where the dewatered cake is thrown off.
After dropping --9--, the two sieve belts --3 and 4-- are returned separately, whereby the sieve belt --3-- returns to task --5-- and into the filter zone --10--.
In the illustration according to FIG. 2, only the filter zone --10-- and the wedge zone --7- are shown again, with the deflection roller for the screen belt --3-- again designated --6--
EMI2.1
is done here by backup rollers --11--,
3, the design according to the invention is indicated schematically.
With this design, gratings or perforated plates - 12 and back-up rollers 11 - are alternatively used both in the straining zone --10-- and in the wedge zone --7-- to support the sieve belts --3 or 4- - intended.
4, a frame --13-- is provided for the gratings --12--, which is fixed in the base frame --2-- of the screen belt press. The setting can be pivoted and adjustable in the height direction, for example to set the wedge angle or to enable special adjustments. Within this frame --13-- a subframe --14- is provided for the rollers or rollers --11--, which itself can be moved relative to the frame --13-- and can be fixed in the selected position. The distance a between adjacent gratings --12-- is approximately equal to the length b of the grating in the running direction of the sieve belt. The adjustment of the subframe --14-- relative to the gratings or
Perforated plate-bearing frame --13-- can be done as shown in Fig. 5 by making a fixation

spring --17-- so that the rollers or rollers --11-- come into contact with the screen belt with these springs --17-- interposed.
