The present invention relates to a holder for devices to be attached to a wall by hooking or the like, e.g. B. water heater, memory or the like, which have on its rear wall facing at least one with its open side facing down, an extension of the bracket attached to the wall hook, a recess, undercut or the like.

A radiator holder has become known from AT-PS 303 316, this holder having two hooks, both of which are used for hanging the radiator. The object of the invention is to provide a holder of the type described in the introduction, which can be used universally for different types of devices, so that when replacing devices - regardless of that, for example, in the new device, the hook at a different altitude in relation to the device connections is arranged - can be reused, thus eliminating the time-consuming and laborious removal of the old bracket and the attachment of a new bracket

According to the invention it is provided to achieve the object that the holder is designed as a multiply bent, one-piece sheet-metal strip part which, in a manner known per se, has two upward-facing extensions which are arranged at a vertical distance and can optionally be used for hooking the device.

Such a holder therefore opens up the advantageous possibility of hooking a new device onto the already existing holder of the device to be replaced without time-consuming adaptation.

It is particularly advantageous to profile the holder such that the web is designed with its upper edge to form an upper, upward-facing extension and with its lower edge to form a lower, likewise upward-pointing extension. This results in a particularly simple replacement of the device in connection with its new attachment to the holder.

A preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the single drawing figure in a vertical view, partly also in section.

The bracket to be attached to a wall (2), generally designated (1), is assigned to a hook (4) attached to the rear of the device (3), which in practice - depending on the device type - can be used in different ways for the connection and the use of the device can be at suitable altitudes. Such an optional altitude is indicated in dashed lines in the drawing, the actual altitude, however, in full lines.

Screws (5) and (6) are used to attach the bracket (1) to the wall (2) and also to attach the hook (4) to the device (3).

The holder (1) and the hook (4) fastened to the rear of the device (3) are expediently designed as strips with a profile that is constant over the longitudinal course in order to be able to move the suspended device into an optimal position according to the local conditions.

With its web (7), the holder (1) lies snugly and flatly against the wall (2) and carries two extensions (8) and (9) projecting upwards from the wall (2) for optional hooking of the device ( 3) attached hook (4) in one or the other, in each case better fitting extension (8) or (9).

Basically, these extensions (8) and (9) can be designed as desired within the scope of the invention. It has proven to be particularly simple, solid and accordingly advantageously producible to crank the web (7) of the holder (1) with an upper edge (10) and to profile its lower edge flange (11) in a bow shape, the lower extension then having an upward-pointing one Leg (12) of this edge flange (11) is formed.

The holder according to the invention has proven itself, as already mentioned at the beginning, particularly in the case of the exchange of devices, for example when installing a new device instead of an old one or when replacing a device of lower capacity with a device with higher performance.

The design of the organ to be arranged on the device (3) can be freely selected within the scope of the invention. Instead of a hook (4) shown above, for example, a niche-shaped recess, a horizontally running undercut or the like.
