Claims (1)

AT 400 704 B Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verpackung, bestehend aus einer Palette mit zwei entlang ihrer Ränder aufgesetzten Tragbrettern, zwischen denen ein breiter Spalt vorhanden ist, und einer auf diese Palette aufgesetzten Schachtel, insbesondere einer Kartonschachtel, deren Grundfläche im wesentlichen der Grundfläche der Palette entspricht. 5 Bei derartigen Verpackungen wird eine Stülpschachtel mit im wesentlichen durchgehenden ebenen Seitenkanten verwendet, die lediglich auf den Tragbrettern der Palette aufstehen kann. Bei einer solchen Verpackung ergibt sich jedoch das Problem, daß die Kanten der Schachtel nicht auf dem vollen Umfang tragen können. Dadurch ergibt sich beim mehrlagigen Transport oder mehrlagiger Lagerung ein entsprechend geringer Stapelstauchwiderstand der Verpackung. Da nun ein bestimmter io Stapelstauchwiderstand für verschiedene Beförderungsarten vorgeschrieben ist, müssen die Schachteln aus einem entsprechend festen und dicken Material, wie z.B. Karton, hergestellt werden. Ziel der Erfindung ist es, diese Nachteile zu vermeiden und eine Verpackung der eingangs erwähnten Art vorzuschlagen, die sich durch einen hohen Stapelstauchwiderstand auszeichnet. Erfindungsgemäß wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß die Kanten der Schachtelie eine Ausformung aufwei-is sen, die in den zwischen den Tragbrettern verbleibenden Spalt eingreift und sich über dessen gesamte Länge erstreckt und deren Höhe im wesentlichen der Höhe bzw. Dicke der Tragbretter entspricht. Durch diese Maßnahmen ist sichergestellt, daß die Kanten der Schachtel entlang ihres im wesentlichen gesamten Umfanges auf der Palette abgestützt sind. So wird das freie "Durchhängen" der Kanten, wie es bei den bekannten Verpackungen auftritt, sicher verhindert. Dadurch kann die Schachtel auch eine 20 entsprechend höhere Stapellast aufnehmen, bzw. es kann bei einer vorgegebenen Stapelbelastung ein dünneres Material zur Herstellung der Schachtel verwendet werden. Die Erfindung wird nun anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert, die schematisch eine erfindungsgemäße Verpackung zeigt. Eine Palette 1 weist zwei im wesentlichen parallel zueinander verlaufende Träger 2 auf, die durch zwei 25 über Distanzhalter 3 voneinander distanzierte Trägerbretter 4 gebildet sind. Diese beiden Träger 2 sind über Tragbretter 5 miteinander verbunden, die die Endbereiche der Träger 2 miteinander verbinden. Dabei verbleibt zwischen den beiden Tragbretter 5 ein Spalt 6. Eine Stülpschachtel 7 ohne Boden, mit vier Seitenwänden 10 und zwei Deckelhälften 11 und 12, weist in ihrem der Palette zugewandten umlaufenden Kantenbereich an zwei gegenüberliegenden Kanten 8 eine 30 Ausformung 9 auf, die sich über die gesamte Länge des Spaltes 6 erstreckt und die bei aufgesetzter Schachtel 7 in den Spalt 6 der Palette 1 eingreift. Dabei weist die Ausformung 9 eine Höhe 13 auf, die der Dicke der Tragbretter 5 entspricht. Dadurch ist sichergestellt, daß die Kanten 8 der aus Pappe hergestellten Schachtel 7 entlang ihres gesamten Umfanges auf der Palette 1 abgestützt sind. Dabei erfolgt die Abstützung auf den Tragbrettern 5 und im Bereich des Spaltes 6 auf den Trägern 2. 35 Patentansprüche 1.
