Verbindung gebracht.

Connected. These rings do not have a greater radial extent than the blades and therefore do not protrude either on the inner or on the outer edge of the blades. They are arranged at certain axial distances between the attachment and the free outer edge of the blades. In this way one can produce durable vane drums with a very small radial extent and assemble from these turbines with a small diameter and at the same time large passage cross-sections. The turbines constructed in this way have the advantage that the slopes are exposed to lower centrifugal loads and also have a higher resistance.
Fig. 1 of the drawing illustrates the vertical section of a simple radial turbine.
The guide vane rings J and the rotor blade rings 6 have the construction shown in FIG.
FIG. 2 shows a turbine of the same type with two expansion spaces, in which, as in FIG. 1, the guide vane rings 5 and the rotor vane rings 6 are fastened to flat disks. The stationary blade rings 5 are not attached directly to the turbine housing, but rather to plates 7 that are independent of the latter.
FIG. 5 shows in section a sighting ring in which the blades with the connecting rings are not made from one piece, as in FIG. 4.
