  Verfahren zur Befestigung von Wärmeisolier-Überzügen an metallenen Handhaben für Kochgeschirre u.   dgt.   



   Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung betrifft Handhaben beliebiger Art aus Metall für metallene Kochgeschirre, die, zum Schutz gegen Verbrennen der Hände beim Anfassen, auf eigenartige Weise ganz oder teilweise mit einem unlösbaren Isolioüberzug versehen sind. Die bisher zu diesem Zweck angewendeten Mitte) : Umwickeln der metallenen Hand-   haben   mit Hohrbast, Überschieben von durchbohrten Körpern aus Holz, Porzellan o. dgl. sowie das Anbringen von Isolier-Zwischenlagen zwischen   Gefasswand   und   Handhabe,   sind meist wenig geeignet, weit teils zu wenig haltbar und andererseits schwierig oder bei gewissen Handhaben gar nicht anzubringen, wie z.   U.   bei starken Krümmungen derselben. 



  Die bekannten Isolirzwischenlagen sind insofern in bestimmten Fällen wertlos, als sich

 und nachher durch Vulkanisieren, Erhitzen im Trockenofen o. dgl. erhärtet wird, wobei sich die, die Metallteile umgebende, beliebig starke Isolierschicht allen Unebenheiten der Handhabe, gleichviel welcher Form dieselbe sei, dicht anschmiegt. Auf diese Weise lassen sich sowohl Handhaben (wie Griffe, Stiele, Henkel   etc.)   aus flachem, bandartigen zur Verstärkung hohl gebogenem Metall, als auch aus solchem von rundem, ovalen oder eckigen Querschnitt mit   einem   gleichmässigen, fest anliegenden und unlösbaren Isolierüberzug versehen, was bei Anwendung von Bastumwickelung, Aufschieben von   Holz-, Glas-, Porzf'lan-   o. dergl. Rollen nicht   möglich   ist.
