Beispiel I.

EMI2.3
A. Man mischt 150 Teile Tragantlösung, 125 Teile p-Nitrophenylnitrosaminpaste 25% und 35 Teile Wasser :
B. Man mischt 350 Teile Tragantlösung, 15 Teile Terpentinöl, 25 Teile j-Naphtol, 25 Teile Seife, 50 Teile Natronlauge 16%, 125 Teile Wasser.

of chromates on fabric pre-dyed with indigo, leaves the goods for a while to develop the red, whereby it can also be steamed for a short time and then take through the usual etching bath.
The process can of course still be used in many ways and is not limited to the types of use listed above, which are only intended to serve as examples.
Example I.
25 parts of s-naphtol and 25 parts of castor soap are dissolved in 50 parts of 16% sodium hydroxide solution and 120 parts of water. This solution is stirred into 560 parts of tragacanth solution in which 60 parts of Glauber's salt have previously been dissolved.
Before use, 15 parts of chloroethyl alcohol, 15 parts of neutral acetin and 125 parts of 25 percent red nitrosamine paste are added. You print and leave the fabric for 24 hours. The same can then also be steamed as required. Similar results are obtained if, in this example, the chloroethyl alcohol is replaced by the equivalent amount of benzodichlorohydrin or acetodichlorohydrin.
Example II.
25 parts of [j-naphtol, 30 parts of castor soap are dissolved in 50 parts of 16% sodium hydroxide solution and 120 parts of water. On the other hand, 125 parts of 25% strength nitrosamine red paste are dissolved in 900 parts of water. The two solutions are mixed; 15 parts of chloroethyl alcohol and 15 parts of neutral acetin are added to this mixture and the mixture is made up to 1,250 parts with water.
You pad with this solution, dry and let the color develop by lying for 24 hours. This can then be dampened as required.
Example III.
30 parts of naphthol and 40 parts of castor soap are dissolved in 60 parts of 16% sodium hydroxide solution with the addition of hot water, the solution is made up to 1200 parts with water; thereupon there

the following mixture printed:
125 parts of 25% nitrosamine red paste are stirred into 700 parts of tragacanth solution in which 60 parts of Glauber's salt have previously been dissolved; 15 parts of turpentine oil are then added.
EMI2.3
A. Mix 150 parts of tragacanth solution, 125 parts of 25% p-nitrophenylnitrosamine paste and 35 parts of water:
B. 350 parts of tragacanth solution, 15 parts of turpentine oil, 25 parts of j-naphthol, 25 parts of soap, 50 parts of 16% sodium hydroxide solution, 125 parts of water are mixed.
After A has been mixed with B, 36 parts of acetin and 64 parts of water are added, and the product is printed, dried and steamed for one minute without pressure, washed and soaped. Development can also be completed by drying alone.
The procedure is analogous when using other nitrosamines suitable for the production of dyes on the fiber, as well as other acid esters or mixtures of acid esters.
