Description

AT 404 963 BAT 404 963 B

The invention relates to a sliding gate with an electric drive unit, comprising a motor and a force-transmitting drive means which cooperates with a counterpart fixed to the sliding gate, the sliding gate having horizontal surfaces which slide over rollers which are mounted on stationary supports and a horizontal one Has beam with a C-shaped profile, the electric drive unit 5 being accommodated inside this beam and fastened to a movable support which is articulated on a fixed support. For the automation of sliding gates, it is state of the art, e.g. from DE 36 10 224A, known to arrange a free-standing geared motor laterally next to the gate, which moves the gate in a longitudinal direction by means of a drive means, such as a toothed rack, chain rack, chain, rope, belt, friction wheel or the like. Both the motor itself and the stationary drive means connected to it, as well as the part interacting with the stationary drive means, which is placed on the surface of the sliding gate, are exposed unprotected against weather, destruction in various ways and unauthorized access to protect the aforementioned parts these, at least in part, are provided with covers. However, these covers have low stability, are insufficiently functional and uneconomical, and are also not very attractive visually.

In order to protect the motor and the drive means as well as all other elements necessary for the automatic opening and closing of the gate against weather, unauthorized access and destruction, and this in a visually appealing manner, it is known that the motor, the force-transmitting drive means and preferably also the stationary rollers are accommodated in the interior of this bar 20. As a result, the motor, the power-transmitting drive means and, if appropriate, the rollers are protected against destruction, unauthorized access and weathering, which results in greater operational reliability. The elements mentioned no longer have to be individually clad and are no longer available as individual parts during assembly on site, but can be supplied and assembled as an assembly and transport unit with the sliding gate. From the outside, in addition to the sliding gate itself, only the supports for the concealed rollers and possibly the support for the concealed motor can be seen.

All elements for carrying, guiding and transporting the sliding gate are therefore inaccessible inside the beam and in the assembled state of the gate. Nevertheless, it must be ensured that the gate can be moved without great resistance, does not tilt and that the conversion of the rotation of the motor shaft into the translational movement of the sliding gate takes place reliably. This is the object of the present invention.

The object is achieved in that the sliding gate with its horizontal surfaces is supported by at least two spaced support and guide rollers, each of which is mounted on a fixed support, and in that an adjusting element such as an adjusting screw, an eccentric, a spring is attached to the movable support or attacks a piston with which the contact pressure of the drive means against the counterpart of the sliding gate can be adjusted, either mechanically or via an electrical or electronic control.

The weight of the door is carried by the carrying and guide rollers, which also prevent the door from tipping over. The adjustable contact pressure generated by the actuating element ensures reliable interaction of the drive means with the counterpart, the contact pressure being approximately independent of the position of the door, since the drive means has no supporting function.

The movable support is preferably articulated on one of the fixed supports, so that no additional support is required for the drive unit.

The force-transmitting drive means is preferably a friction wheel which bears on an inner surface of the sliding gate serving as a counterpart and which transmits the rotation of the motor shaft by means of friction on the surface of the sliding gate into a translatory movement of the sliding gate. This means that the gate-fixed drive means, which cooperates with the stationary drive means (friction wheel), in this case is an existing surface of the sliding gate, which is undoubtedly a manufacturing advantage. The contact pressure is e.g. adjustable so that the inertia and the weight of the door, the adhesion between the friction wheel and the surface is sufficient during conventional opening and closing, so the door encounters an unforeseen resistance and a greater force would be necessary to open the door further or close, the liability is no longer sufficient and the friction wheel begins to slip and the gate comes to a standstill. Associated with this can also be a signal to an electrical control unit that reverses the movement of the gate when a resistance is detected.

The force-transmitting drive means can also be a pinion or wheel interacting with a toothed rack, chain rod, chain, a rope or belt as a counterpart.

Durch diese Aufnahme der Elemente in den unteren Längsholm wird das äußere Erscheinungsbild des 2The horizontal bar with the C-shaped profile is preferably the lower longitudinal spar of the sliding gate, which offers sufficient stability and sufficient protection for the elements accommodated therein. By including the elements in the lower longitudinal spar, the external appearance of the 2nd

AT 404 963 B Schiebetors in keiner Weise gestört. AT 404 963 B sliding gate in no way disturbed. The C-shaped profile is preferably open at the bottom, so that the opening is not visible under normal observation and no water can collect in the beam. To clarify the invention, this will be described again in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 shows the sliding gate according to the invention as it rests on the fixed supports with the rollers mounted thereon. FIG. 2 shows a section of the gate from FIG. 1 along the line II-II. FIG. 3 shows a section through the lower longitudinal spar of the sliding gate in the vicinity of a support and FIG. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV from FIG. 3. In FIG. 1 a sliding gate is shown which corresponds to the arrow 8 can be moved. The lower longitudinal spar of the sliding gate is a horizontal, hollow beam 1 with a C-shaped profile, which is open at the bottom. Carriers 12, on which rollers 2 are mounted, are fastened to the floor, and as can be seen in FIG. 2, these rollers are provided in pairs. With its horizontal surface 11, the sliding gate lies on these rollers or slides over these rollers 2. The rollers 2 lie entirely in the cavity of the beam 1. The beam 1 can also have a C-profile and one or more hollow chambers. The brackets 12 may be attached to pillar posts or walls rather than to the floor. The rollers 2 can also rest on another horizontal surface of the sliding gate and can be arranged outside the cavity of the beam 1. 3 shows a preferred exemplary embodiment in greater detail. The carrier 12 is screwed to the floor and carries the roller 2 on which the surface 11 of the beam 1 rests. The carrier 12 has an L-shape here and on the section 12a of the carrier 12 an arm 3 is pivotally or otherwise adjustably mounted, which carries the motor 6 and the associated friction wheel 5. The motor 6 is supplied with power via a cable 7 (alternatively, a battery could secure the power supply) and the rotation of the shaft of the motor 6 is transmitted to the friction wheel 5, which is also located on the surface 11 of the bar 1 and when rotating, Sliding gate moved translationally. At the section 12a of the carrier 12, a threaded piece is also attached, in which a set screw 4 engages, via which the arm 3 rests. For example, the contact pressure of the friction wheel 5 against the surface 11 can be adjusted by adjusting the set screw 4. With this adjusting screw, the pressure can also be set so that the gate slips when it encounters resistance. In addition, an electrical control can be used, with which the gate turns when actuating pulse generators, but also by detecting a resistance. Switching the longitudinal movement on and off is most economically accomplished by inductive limit switches, the contacts of which are also preferably located inside the bar 1. Instead of attaching the motor to the support 12 of a roller 2, this can of course also be mounted on its own fixed support. Instead of the power transmission via the friction wheel, this can also take place via a toothed rack, chain rod, chain, ropes, belts or the like. Instead of an adjusting screw, a mechanical eccentric, a spring, a linear piston or the like can also be provided, and the pressing will be effected mechanically via an electrical or electronic control. The motor 6 and the drive means 5 as well as the rollers 2 in the exemplary embodiment shown are in any case optimally protected from unauthorized access, destruction and weather by the fact that they are arranged in the interior of the beam 1 and do not disturb the visual impression of the sliding gate. As can be seen in FIG. 4, the opening of the C-profile can be kept relatively narrow, since only the support 12 and the power cable 7 have to extend through this opening. The narrower the opening, the better the protection of the internal elements. The necessary circuits, impulses, safety and comfort requirements are achieved via electrical or electronic controls, as previously known. These controls can be located inside the bar or outside. 1.
