The invention has a press with a steel sheet, z. B. press plate, in particular endless belt, as well as a sheet for a press on the subject. Various devices are known for the production of substantially plane-parallel plates with a smooth surface from plasma masses. Loose preformed plates are used in multi-level presses, wherein a position of the masses of the product to be produced, followed by a press plate, then again a position of the masses of the product to be produced, etc. are arranged between an upper and lower punch. By heat and pressure these plastic masses are then solidified. The production io takes place here discontinuously.
In a further device for the production of wood chipboard, plastic films od. Like. The thermally solidified masses are introduced into the gap between endless belts of a double belt press. Such bands have z. B. a width of 2.0 m and 15 a length of 14.0 m. The uniform movement of the upper and lower belt is 10 m / min. Heat input from both the lower and upper bands occurs via heat conduction to and through the upper and lower bands. At least one of the bands has a smooth surface with an average roughness of a few pm, whereas the other band may have a structuring with which during the pressing process 20 a surface is embossed and solidified.
55 3Press plates have a particularly high surface quality, with particularly high demands being placed on both the flatness and the roughness. In the course of production, inhomogeneities in the pressed material can cause damage to the press plates. 25 Such inhomogeneities are for example due to metallic inclusions in the woods, product clusters u. Like. Conditional. Thereby, the press plates, which have a relatively small thickness, starting with 1 mm to 2 mm, locally deformed. However, these local deformations are difficult to align, so it is necessary to replace the corresponding sheet metal area. Such an exchange can be done either by the exchange of a metal strip, which extends over the entire width of the sheet or by replacing a round area. In this case, according to EP-A-0 820 833, a corresponding area is removed from the sheet mechanically or by plasma cutters. This removal is carried out by guiding the plasma cutter or a mechanical cutter along a guide held on the plate by means of electromagnets or vacuum suction elements, which are connected to a vacuum source. After removal of a round blank from the sheet machining of the cut surfaces in the sheet takes place, wherein the machining tool, a milling cutter, is moved again along the guide attached to the band via an electric motor. The machining chips od. Like. Are collected in a cup which is located below the endless belt. Then, a blank to be welded 40 is used, which is set again via a holder in the desired position. Then, again via the mechanical guide and an electric motor, a welding device, u. between a TIG welding machine, moved. The weld thus obtained can mechanically, z. B. be reworked by cold deformation. Such welds have been made to have a substantial overhang of the adjacent unaffected steel strip surface so that as even a planar alignment of the weld and adjoining areas as possible has been achieved in subsequent processing, however, the burn-in must be removed, thereby further recessing when grinding, z. B. with an angle grinder, took place. EP 0 031 613 A2 describes a method for producing embossing engraving on a metal endless belt connected by a weld seam. In order to avoid inhomogeneities in the weld, the endless belt is provided with a galvanically deposited metal layer. However, this galvanic layer takes on due to the uniform deposition of the same mechanical discontinuities. 55 3

In EP 0 113 813 a metallic endless belt with a structured surface is also described. The metal strip consists of a precipitation-hardenable or by heat or radiation treatment in the crystal structure variable metal alloy. The alloy of the weld should be identical to the metal structure of the unwelded base material, where no differences in the structuring between the weld and the unwelded material should occur. How this should be achieved, this patent application can not be removed.
The task is to produce different endless belts with the same embossing pattern. Here is taken from an endless belt casting in the form of an endless elastic plastic tape on which a metal layer is deposited by electroplating on the imprint surface of the plastic tape. Thus, while a reproduction of a work surface for an endless belt can be carried out, this method is applicable to certain metals, such as metal. zw. those that can be deposited electrolytically limited, so that in the resulting ribbon a shorter life is expected.
In DE 41 34 976 A1, a specific steel alloy is proposed to prevent inhomogeneity points through the weld 20 a metallic press belt, which is treated in an acid bath before the galvanic structuring. Here it is necessary that the entire outer and inner surface of the press belt is ground to a uniform material thickness. Here is thus a particularly high workload. The present invention has the object to provide a plate and a press with sheet metal, in which plastic masses are thermally acted on, causing welds, which are caused for example by replacement of damaged areas of the sheet, no visually perceptible inhomogeneity in the product produced , 30 The press according to the invention with a steel sheet, z. B. press plate, in particular - endless belt, with a thickness of 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm and an average roughness of 1.0 pm to 4.0 pm for the thermal shaping and solidification of plastic masses, for. B. for wood chipboard, plastic films, and a heater which introduces heat via a working plane of the sheet in the plastic masses, which has a single or multilayer 35 butt weld welded joint of similar material, in particular identical composition to steel, consists essentially of that a surface of the weld lies in a curved surface, which lies in particular between the working plane and an opposite plane of the sheet, which has a greatest normal distance, in particular from 30 pm to 50 pm, to the working plane of the sheet, and 40 that an intersection curve of Surface of the weld seam and the areas adjoining the working plane on both sides is continuous with a normal plane to the working plane of the sheet, and another surface of the weld lies on the opposite side of the sheet in an area which is at most 20 pm away from the plane, insbeson in the plane of the sheet and the weld has a minimum thickness which is at least 50 pm less than the thickness of the sheet.
Durch die 4It was quite surprising that a working surface which presents such an irregularity as the welded seam which is reduced in relation to the rest of the surface does not lead to optical inhomogeneities in the product produced. This may be due to the fact that the inhomogeneity points, which have so far occurred in welds, due to a lack of heat conduction from the steel sheet into the product. The formation of the weld on the one hand can be achieved that no notching occurs on the working surface of the belt, whereby the life of the sheet can be significantly increased and on the other hand, the area of the weld can be as such held particularly low th, since the edge areas only less need to be melted. By the 4
5AT 413 679 B specific formation of the weld on the surface opposite the working surface of the press plate or strip is achieved that the heat transfer from the heaters in the press on the strip or press plate can be made approximately the same as outside the weld. 5
10If the surface of the weld seam and the adjoining areas with the working plane form an angle α of not more than 4 ', in particular not more than 2', on the one hand a particularly low mechanical processing of the weld seam and the subsequent areas can take place, whereby the product does not appear in its optical appearance is impaired. 10
20If the weld is self-contained, then a substitution of small areas of the sheet can take place, whereby here also a visual impairment of the product produced can be avoided. 15 If the width of the weld with the adjoining areas on both sides, which are lowered compared to the working plane, the 40- to 70-fold, in particular 50- to 60-fold, the thickness of the sheet, so is a particularly good course of the transition between weld and given the working plane of the sheet, wherein furthermore the working surfaces are kept relatively low. 20
If the weld cross-sectionally double-V-shaped, so a particularly good heat transfer between the sheet and heat-transmitting units can be ensured, further ensuring a particularly high strength. 25 If the cutting curve of the surface of the weld and the adjacent areas on both sides of the same level with a normal plane to the work plane at least one point of discontinuity to each side of the weld, a particularly high planarity of the weld at the working plane gegenüberlie Surprisingly, the two points of discontinuity bring about no impairment of the product to be produced, but on the other hand make it possible to keep the machining of the weld and the adjacent regions particularly low, so that a particularly planar design can be achieved.
The sheet steel of the invention, z. B. press plate, in particular endless belt, with a thickness between 1.0 mm and 3.0 mm, an average roughness of 1.0 pm to 4.0 pm and two plane-parallel planes, one of which serves as a working plane, the one Weld seam of the same material, in particular identical composition to steel, comprises, essentially consists in that a surface of the weld is located in a curved surface, which lies in particular between the working plane and the opposite of this 40 level of the sheet, which a maximum normal distance, in particular from 30 pm to 50 pm, to the working plane of the sheet, and that an intersection curve of the surface of the weld and the areas adjoining the working plane on both sides is continuous with a normal plane to the working plane of the sheet, and another surface of the weld at the working plane opposite side of the sheet is located in an area 45, which is a maximum of 20 pm away from the Level, in particular in the plane of the sheet is, and the weld has a minimum thickness which is at least 50 pm less than the thickness of the sheet. With such a sheet it can be achieved that products to be molded on this surface impart an optically homogeneous impression, wherein welds, which are required for different reasons, are not disturbing in the overall visual impression of the product to be produced. However, the surface of the sheet has quite an optical inhomogeneity, and it was surprising that by creating an inhomogeneity region on the surface of the strip a homogeneous product can be achieved.
Schließen die Oberfläche der Schweißnaht und die anschließenden Bereiche mit der Ebene der 55 Arbeitsebene einen Winkel von maximal 4 Winkelminuten, insbesondere 2 Winkelminuten, ein, 5Close the surface of the weld and the adjoining areas with the plane of the 55 working plane an angle of not more than 4 angular minutes, in particular 2 minutes of arc, a, 5
Although AT 413 679 B gives the sheet itself an optical inhomogeneity due to the different angles of reflection of the optical beams, no inhomogeneity spot is recognizable in the product produced, even in photographic reproductions. 5 If the weld is self-contained, smaller areas of inhomogeneity can also be exchanged, with no optical centering on the substituted region in the product, but rather an optical adaptation to the subsequent regions.
If the width of the weld with the areas adjoining on both sides, which lie in the curved surface, is 40 to 70 times, in particular 50 to 60 times, the thickness of the sheet, then a particularly advantageous adaptation of the surface of the weld is and the subsequent areas, taking into account the total thickness of the weld, so that both the strength and the design of the working surface taking into account the heat transfer in view of the optically very homogeneous formation of the sheets 15 is taken into account.
If the weld is double V-shaped in cross-section, a particularly homogeneous transition along the entire thickness of the metal sheet between the weld seam and the metal sheet is provided, whereby the overall width of the weld seam can be kept lower due to the double-sided welding.
30 -----------If the sectional curve of the further surface of the weld seam and the areas adjoining the same on both sides at the plane lying opposite the working plane with a normal plane to the working plane has at least one point of discontinuity on each side of the weld, then a particularly flat formation of the opposite side of the working surface Weld seam can be effected, it was quite surprising that the two points of discontinuity with respect to the heat conduction of the sheet on the working plane have no undesirable effects and the discontinuities further no ------- negative impact on the. Have life of an endless belt. 30 -----------

The endless belt 4 shown in section in FIG. 2 has a thickness d! of 2.6 mm, the average roughness determined according to DIN M 1115, is 1.5 μιη. The weld 17 is double-V-shaped and has a thickness d2 of 2.550 mm. The band 4 has an upper working plane 18 and a plane 19 opposite thereto. The cut surfaces both in the band 4 and the weld 17 lie in a normal plane to the working plane 18. The surface 20 is located in a curved surface 21 which has a maximum distance x of 50 pm to the working plane 18 and may also be asymmetrical. The surface 20 of the weld 17 and the two adjoining regions 22 and 23 have a maximum angle a, which is enclosed by the curved surface 21 with the working plane 15 18, of 2 angular minutes. The curved surface 21 extends over 150 mm and is therefore 58 times the thickness di of the sheet. The curved surface 21 is continuous in section and is continuous in the working plane 18, wherein the angle α is formed continuously decreasing. 20 At the bottom of the sheet is another level 19, wherein the surface 24 of the weld in the plane 19 comes to rest. The surface 24 may have a maximum distance to the plane 19 of 20 pm. On both sides of the weld notch points 25 and 26 are provided, the discontinuities are in section. 25 When inserting a circular sheet into the endless belt, proceed as follows.
The inhomogeneity point in the band is determined and a hole is provided in the center through the band. Through this hole, a centering pin is guided over which a ------- guide with electromagnet is arranged on the belt. On the other side, a cup is arranged on the centering pin. Along the guide is a Plasmäschheider with an electrical - see voltage of 380 V, compressed air at 5.5 bar and at a speed of 2 m / min out. After cutting out and removing a 300 mm diameter sheet metal blank, the cut edge is machined with the cut substantially normal to the plane of the strip. It was then a sheet metal blank with a cutting edge, which is normal to 35 working level, the outer dimensions of which coincides with the cut opening, inserted, below both the sheet and the sheet metal blank a copper holder was provided. The sheet metal blank was additionally held in position by an electromagnet. With a TIG torch electrical voltage 220 V and 7 liters of argon per minute, a weld was placed by melting the sheet and the sheet metal blank, 40 wherein the sheet metal blank was tacked into the sheet before the actual welding process. The welding operation is carried out at a speed of 140 mm / min on one side, after which the guide is placed on the other side and a welding operation as described, but with a smaller depth, was carried out again. After completion of the welding process, a cold deformation was performed by hammering, whereupon on the side of the working plane and 45 on the opposite plane the weld with a grinding wheel, which was pneumatically operated and had a rubber plate with a diameter of 75 mm and first with grinding wheels K 80, K 120 and then processed or polished with a nonwoven. The grinding and polishing was accompanied by a measuring operation, so that the configuration shown in Fig. 2 could be maintained. By cold working, the weld and the adjacent areas on the opposite side of the working plane could be placed in the plane of the sheet. The total thickness was 2.550 mm. An automatic production is also possible.
Another round blank was also welded with a TIG welder, observing the 55 parameters listed above and using a welding wire with the same composition.
