Der Tragschenkel 3 dient zur Aufnahme einer nicht weiter dargestellten Dämmplatte. Das Abschlussprofil 1 weist einen im Wesentlichen L-förmigen oder U-förmigen Querschnitt auf und besteht aus Metall, beispielsweise verzinktem Blech, Aluminium oder Edelstahl oder dgl.
