  Verfahren zur Herstellung von grünschwarzen Küpenfarbstoffen. 



   Durch Patent Nr. 41780 wurde die Herstellung neuer orangefarbener Küpenfarbstoffe (erhalten durch Behandlung des 6-61-Diaminothioindigos mit Halogenen) geschützt. In Erweiterung dieses Verfahrens wurde ermittelt, dass bei Ersatz des   G-ss-Diaminothio-   indigos durch den   5-51-Diaminothioindigo   von der Konstitution

 sehr echte grünschwarze Küpenfarbstoffe entstehen. 



   Beispiel :
10 Teile des 5-51-Diaminothioindigofarbstoffes werden mit etwas Chlorbenzol verrührt und mit etwa 20 Teilen Brom versetzt. Man erwärmt einige Zeit am   Rückfluss-   kühler, saugt ab und wäscht mit Alkohol. Das so erhaltene Produkt   löst sich   in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grünblauer Farbe, es ist in Alkohol, Aceton unlöslich, in heissem Nitrobenzol nur sehr schwer löslich mit olivgrüner Farbe ; der Farbstoff lässt sich mit Hydrosulfit leicht   verkippen   und   färbt   Baumwolle und insbesondere Wolle echt in grünschwarzen Tönen. 



   Ersetzt man das Brom durch Chlor, so erhält man einen sehr ähnlichen Farbstoff nur in wesentlich schlechterer Ausbeute.

   Example:
10 parts of the 5-51-diaminothioindigo dye are stirred with a little chlorobenzene, and about 20 parts of bromine are added. It is heated for some time on the reflux condenser, filtered off with suction and washed with alcohol. The product thus obtained dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a green-blue color, it is insoluble in alcohol and acetone, and only very sparingly soluble in hot nitrobenzene with an olive-green color; the dye can be easily tilted with hydrosulfite and really dyes cotton and especially wool in green-black shades.



   If the bromine is replaced by chlorine, a very similar dye is obtained in a significantly poorer yield.
