Herstellung rnetallischer Glühstrumpfhalter, Schutzkörbe und sonstiger notwendig feuerbeständiger Teile von Gasglühlichtlampen.
Die Glühstrumpfhalter, Schutzkörbe und dergl. Teile an Gasglühlichtlampen stehender oder hängender Bauart sind während des Brennens der Lampe sehr hoher Temperatur ausgesetzt, wodurch die Wahl des Materiales für diese Lampenteile auf erhebliche Schwierigkeiten stösst.
Für die Glühkörporstützen stehender und die Halteringe hängender Glühlichtlampen pflegen bisher Magnesia und ähnliche erdige Stoffe benützt zu werden, die aber geringe Festigkeit aufweisen und leicht in der Hitze springen oder bei unsanfter Berührung zerbrechen.
Zur Herstellung von Schutzkörben, wie sie bei Laternen mit hängendem Gasglühlicht, z. H. in Eisenbahnwagen, vorzugsweise Verwendung finden, ist die Verwendung von Magnesia
