Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 6>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 7>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 8>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 9>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

  The invention relates to a roller shutter device, in particular for energy-efficient houses, with a roller shutter box, which has a front wall, a rear wall, an upper wall and a box floor, for installation in a window or door cutout of a house wall.

  Roller shutters improve the heat and sound behavior of windows and doors and also serve as burglar protection. Roller shutters can significantly improve the thermal insulation effect of windows and doors in the cold season and prevent the rooms from overheating in the warm season by avoiding direct sunlight. On request, light and ventilation slits provide pleasant light with simultaneous privacy protection and thus lead to a cozy feeling of security. When lowered, roller shutters can lead to an extremely inexpensive and significant improvement in soundproofing behavior, which can be particularly important at night.

   Lowered roller shutters also lead to significantly increased burglary protection, since burglars tend to avoid windows with roller shutters and, on the other hand, a variety of burglar protection systems are available in the area of the roller shutters on request.

  A roller shutter device of the type mentioned at the outset is known from DE 93 08 258 U.

  Such a roller shutter device, for example shown in FIG. 8, is preferably mounted above a window or door frame in a window or door opening of a house wall. In the course of increased demands on the thermal insulation, both in new buildings of houses as well as in the renovation of old building substances, it has been shown that strong heat losses can occur in the area of the window and door frames or the roller shutter boxes fastened in this area.

  Even if thermal insulation is provided inside the roller shutter box itself along the rear wall of the roller shutter box described, this is still not sufficient for sufficient thermal insulation in the area of the window frame.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

  In particular with modern high-temperature insulation facades, such as those used in so-called "passive houses" or in energy self-sufficient houses, it is necessary to achieve the best possible tightness and strict avoidance of any cold bridges.

  In the area of windows and doors in particular, this led to completely new systems with newly designed window and door connections. Here, the frame elements for improving the thermal behavior are practically completely integrated in the outer wall insulation.

  If roller shutters are to be used with these high-temperature insulation facades, then a roller shutter device is required, which corresponds to the special conditions of the high-temperature insulation facades and minimizes heat losses.

  In addition, it is desirable to integrate such roller shutter devices into the house wall during the construction of the house or to adapt them to the window or door cutouts in such a way that the roller shutter box can be integrated into the house wall in an inconspicuous and physically optimized manner.

  The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a roller shutter device of the type mentioned, in particular for low-energy houses or houses in solid construction or also for prefabricated houses with high-thermal insulation facades, which have optimal installation parameters and significantly improved thermal insulation behavior.

  In a roller shutter device of the type mentioned at the outset, this object is achieved in that an insulating component is provided at least on an outer side of the rear wall of the roller shutter box, for thermal insulation between the house wall and / or a window or door frame on the one hand and the roller shutter box on the other hand.

  The roller shutter device according to the invention with such a roller shutter box has a very compact construction, so that it can be used universally

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 and can also be retrofitted into existing window and door openings. It is equally suitable for use in solid house construction or prefabricated house construction or for retrofitting houses that are particularly energy-efficient.

  Since the heat insulation is not formed inside the roller shutter box but on the outside on its rear side, the heat insulating insulation component can be adapted exactly to the structural conditions of the door or window cutout of the house wall or the door or window frame without impairing the function of the rolling device.

  This enables particularly good and extremely effective thermal insulation in the area of a house where the criteria of low-energy houses are the most difficult to meet and where the greatest heat transfer occurs with a minimally required space.

  The roller shutter device is ideally suited for high-thermal insulation facades, since any cold bridge, be it through leakage rates or through locally reduced thermal insulation, is avoided.

  The fact that the roller shutter device can be integrated into the wall structure of the high-thermal insulation facade means that the roller shutter system is completely unobtrusive both inside and out.

  Further advantages of the roller shutter device are the very small outer dimensions of the roller shutter box, even with door height, combined with an integrated maximum insulation of the entire area of application.

  By using a highly stable roller shutter rod, the roller shutter device can also be used undivided (!) Up to a width of approx. 2800 mm.

  Preferred embodiments of the invention, as specified in the subclaims, lead to further advantages and particularly favorable thermodynamic properties due to the

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 - roller shutter box rear insulation to maintain the horizontal window / door
Pre-insulation and facade insulation using molded polyurethane and integrated undercut ("dovetail")

   for optimal connection to the
Installation - guide rail rear insulation to maintain the vertical window / door
Pre-insulation - one-piece box contour to avoid leakage rates within the rear insulation - airtight and cold bridge-free implementation of the drive of the rolling device into the interior of the house when using a crank mechanism - possibility of electrical drive by radio remote control without cable routing into the interior of the house and thus avoidance from heat transfer to the outside.

  In addition to these advantages, the roller shutter device according to the invention has simple assembly and revision capabilities and a plaster base connection. Due to the small external dimensions, this system can be integrated into almost any high-temperature insulation facade. Examples of this are the integration in a 3-layer masonry, in a wall frame or in a composite thermal insulation wall.

  The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments and associated drawings. 1 shows a first exemplary embodiment of a roller shutter device according to the invention, integrated schematically in the thermal insulation composite facade

  1 and 4 a section through a house wall 20 is shown, with a window opening in which a window frame 21, which supports a window sash 25, is expertly fitted by means of sealing tape 23 and assembly foam 24, and at the upper end of which an inventive one Roller shutter device 1 is installed.

  This includes a roller shutter box 2, which in turn comprises a front wall 3, a rear wall 4, an upper wall 5 and a box bottom 6. A roller device 7 for a roller shutter 11 is attached in the roller shutter box 2. Instead of a rear upper corner, an inclined wall 9 connects the upper wall 5 and the rear wall 4 of the roller shutter box 2. An insulation component in the form of a rear insulation 10 is designed such that its front side fits snugly on the rear wall 4 and the inclined wall 9 of the Roller shutter box 2 is present. A rear insulation projection 13 formed on the front side of the rear insulation 10 (insulation component) corresponds exactly in terms of its volume to the corner piece of the roller shutter box 2 "cut off" by the inclined wall 9.

   The attachment of the rear insulation 10 to the roller shutter box 2

 <Desc / Clms Page number 6>

 can be done for example by gluing 26. Furthermore, the rear insulation 10 is designed such that its upper side is an extension of the upper wall 5 of the roller shutter box 2. This simplifies installation in the window opening. At its lower end, the rear insulation 10 is flush with the lower edge of the rear wall 4 of the roller shutter box 2. The insulation components and elements can be precisely manufactured from a block of insulation material by cutting. A molding process is also conceivable. Polyurethane foam (PU) or expanded polystyrene (EPS, styrofoam) are preferred as insulation components.

  In the embodiments of the roller shutter device 1 shown in FIGS. 1, 4, 5 and 7, the rear wall 4 is bent at right angles to the rear, outside and above at its lower edge, so that a U-shaped profile extension 19 is formed, into which the lower end of the rear insulation 10 is fitted to ensure a secure and precise fit to the roller shutter box 2. Furthermore, the direction away from the roller shutter box 2
 EMI6.1
 Recess, the rear insulation undercut 14 is formed, which is filled by installation foam 24 during installation. This undercut 14 brings about a positive connection of the rear insulation 10 to and in connection with the assembly foam 24.

  The cavity 22 between the house wall, window frame and roller shutter box is therefore completely filled. This minimizes any heat loss in this area.
 EMI6.2

  The above-described configuration of the side of the rear insulation 10 facing the roller shutter box 2 further maximizes the insulating area between the rear insulation 10 and the roller shutter box 2. The insulation volume of the rear insulation 10 and thus its insulation ability is also maximized. On the one hand, a large part of the outside of the window frame 21 is covered by the rear insulation 10

 <Desc / Clms Page number 7>

 (Insulation component) covered, on the other hand, the largest possible area of the roller shutter box 2 also covered by the rear insulation 10. A direct heat transfer from the window frame 21 or the house wall 20 via the roller shutter box 2 to the outside of the house is thus prevented.

  However, easy and, above all, quick assembly of the roller shutter device 1 remains guaranteed. Particularly in the case of prefabricated houses, houses that are assembled from prefabricated wall and window components, and houses with high-thermal insulation facades, emphasis is placed on short installation times. Since in a roller shutter device 1 according to the invention the rear insulation 10 can be prefabricated before final installation in the window opening, and yet the dimensions and dimensions of the window openings or the window frame 21 can be precisely taken into account, the sealing effect is fully maintained despite the rapid installation.

  To further improve the insulating effect in the roller shutter device 1 according to the invention, as shown in FIG. 2, there are between the guide elements 12 (guide rails) which hold the roller shutter 11 on its intended path as soon as it leaves the roller shutter box 2 and the window frame 21 still further sealing or insulating elements 15 are provided. These insulation elements 15 are also prefabricated in the factory and pre-glued to the guide elements 12.

  It is also possible to design the profile of the guide elements 12 in such a way that, in addition to the actual guide rail, it has an open or closed hollow profile into which further sealing or insulating elements are fitted. The
 EMI7.1
 tion is made possible. The insulation elements 15 are also adapted to the exact required mass before installation and are therefore quick to assemble. The guide elements 12 and the insulation elements 15 are mounted on the window frame 21 by means of rail fastening elements 31, for example screws, and spacer sleeves 30.

   The spacer sleeves 30 can be cast into the insulation elements 15 during the manufacture thereof, or can also be inserted into them later.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 8>

 The guide rail 12 is in one piece with a hollow profile rail 12a, which forms the vertical load-bearing part for the roller shutter box. Through the hollow profile rail 12a, the screwing takes place in the window frame 21 for the stable fastening of the roller shutter device using the spacer sleeves 30 and with the insulating body 15 made of polyurethane foam (assembly foam).

  Furthermore, a plaster connection rail 32 and roller shutter sealing tapes 33 for insulation from the lowered roller shutter 11 are located on the guide elements 12.

  For maintenance or renewal of the roller shutter 11 inside the roller shutter box 2, the box bottom 6 is designed to be removable. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a clip component 16 is provided for this purpose, which is attached to the front wall 3 of the roller shutter box 2 by means of several rivets, similar fastening components or several welding point locations. The box base 6 has a corresponding clip element 18 on its front side, which is designed to be snap-in with the clip component 16. This enables quick access to the components arranged in the roller shutter box 2. In addition, the unsightly arrangement of visible fastening screws on the front of the box bottom 6 is avoided.

  In this embodiment as well as in the installation examples according to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 (installation in three-shell masonry), FIG. 6 (wall in wooden frame construction) and FIG. 7 ("Isorast" wood construction), the front wall 3 is at the lower front end of the roller shutter box 2 a cleaning edge 28 is provided. Their design is preferably carried out by an approximately 90 ° angling of the front wall 3 outwards and by an obliquely backward bending of the free end. Here too, a thermal insulation layer 27 is provided between the plaster and the front wall of the roller shutter box.

  In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3 (front view), the box base 6 is fastened to the roller shutter box 2 by means of a screw connection 17.

  At the front lower end of the roller shutter box 2 is the same with the head piece 3

 <Desc / Clms Page number 9>

 An arm of a T-profile 34 is screwed via a spacer washer, to the second arm of which the box base 6 is screwed. The central vertical profile projection of the T-profile 34 serves as a profile plaster edge 35. In this way, when an external reveal or other plastering is applied, it is avoided that plastering is carried out into the area of the box base 6, so that it would no longer be possible to dismantle it. The vertical arm of the T-profile piece 35 thus serves as a cleaning edge or as a defined soffit stop, so that the space below the box bottom 6 of the roller shutter box is retained in any case.

  The arrangement described can be modified in many ways. For example, as in the embodiment variant shown in FIG. 6, in which the roller shutter device 1 is integrated in a house wall 20 in a wooden frame construction, a further sealing and insulation element can be provided on the top wall or the side walls of the roller shutter box in order to provide thermal insulation in the To improve corners of the window or door cutouts of a house wall even more.

  The use of such a roller shutter device with integrated thermal insulation is of course not restricted to use in prefabricated houses or new buildings. Use in the renovation of old buildings as well as in the construction of construction containers or in the shipping sector, where there are also thermal insulation problems, is possible.
