  Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich ist, liegt die Schuhoberkante zwischen dem Saum 1 des Überstrumpfes und dem an geeigneter SteUe an den Strumpf angeschlossenen Lappen 2, wodurch das Eindringen von Sand, Schnee und Nässe in das Schuhwerk wirksam vermieden wird. Der Lappen   2,   welcher die Fuge an der Schuhoberkante überlascht, wird vorteilhaft aus dem gleichen Material hergestellt wie der Überstrumpf und ist es auch ohne weiters möglich, gewöhnliche Strümpfe in gleicher Weise mit einem Dichtungslappen auszustatten.
