   Körperfarben. Erstes Zusatzpatent zum Patente Nr. 44455. 



   In der Stammpatentschrift Nr. 44455 ist gezeigt worden, dass Mischungen von Naphtanthrachinon mit den in der Farblackfabrikation üblichen Substraten in hervorragender Weise als Körperfarben Verwendung finden können. 



   Es wurde nun weiter gefunden, dass ebenso wie das Naphtantrachinon auch dessen Derivate mit Substraten wertvolle Körperfarben bilden. Als solche Derivate   kommen   in erster Linie die Homologen und die   Halogensubstitutionsprodukte   des Naphtanthrachinons in Betracht. 



   Die die Naphtantrachinonderivate enthaltenden Körperfarben besitzen grünstichig bis rotstichig gelbe Nuancen und zeichnen sich, wie die mit Naphtanthrachinon selbst hergestellten durch hervorragende Echtheitseigenschaften aus. 



   Die Derivate des Naphtanthrachinons, soweit sie unbekannt sind, können nach den gewöhnlichen Methoden dargestellt werden. Man erhält sie z.   B.   durch Einwirkung von   Phtalsäureanhydrid   auf Homologe und substituierte Naphtaline, wie   Methylnaphta1in,   Chlor-   naphtalin   etc. oder aber durch Einwirkung von substituierten   Phtalsäureanhydriden,   wie z. B.   Chlorphtalsäureanbydrid,   auf die genannten Naphtalinderivate bezw. auf das Naphtalin selbst. Halogensubstitutionsprodukte des Naphtanthrachinons lassen sich ferner auch durch Behandeln des fertigen Naphtanthrachinons mit Halogen oder Halogen entwickelnden Mitteln erhalten. 



   Die Derivate des Naphtanthrachinons werden zweckmässig ebenso wie das Naphtanthrachinon selbst in feinverteilter Form angewendet, wie man sie z. B. durch Eintragen ihrer Lösungen in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure in Eiswasser und Behandeln der Fällungen mit verdünnter, heisser Alkalilauge erhält. 



   Die Herstellung der Mischungen kann in der im Stammpatente beschriebenen Weise erfolgen.

   It has now been found that, like naphtane trachinone, its derivatives also form valuable body colors with substrates. The homologues and halogen substitution products of naphtanthraquinone are primarily suitable as such derivatives.



   The body colors containing the naphtanthraquinone derivatives have greenish to reddish yellow nuances and, like those produced with naphtanthraquinone itself, are distinguished by excellent fastness properties.



   The derivatives of naphtanthraquinone, insofar as they are unknown, can be prepared using the usual methods. You get them z. B. by the action of phthalic anhydride on homologues and substituted naphthalenes, such as methylnaphthalene, chlorine naphthalene, etc. or by the action of substituted phthalic anhydrides, such as. B. chlorophthalic anhydride, respectively on the naphthalene derivatives mentioned. on the naphthalene itself. Halogen substitution products of naphtanthraquinone can also be obtained by treating the finished naphtanthraquinone with halogen or halogen-developing agents.



   The derivatives of naphtanthraquinone are expediently used as well as the naphtanthraquinone itself in finely divided form, as you can z. B. obtained by entering their solutions in concentrated sulfuric acid in ice water and treating the precipitates with dilute, hot alkali.



   The mixtures can be produced in the manner described in the parent patent.
