Infolge der Anordnung des Schlitzes c in der Stange C verbleibt der   Hebel A   des Hauptventils b in seiner Stellung, dieses mithin in der Offenlage, hingegen wird die Stange D zwangläufig in ihre andere Endstellung   übergeführt,   so dass nunmehr der rechte   Hebel X   nach links, d. h. in die Offenstellung, übergeführt werden kann. Soll die Maschine a stillgesetzt werden, so muss der Hebel X1 des Hauptventiles b von Hand aus nach rechts, d. h. in die Schliessstellung, umgelegt werden. 



   In entsprechender Weise wird bei Offenstellung des Hilfsventiles BI des rechten Strahl rades al das   Hilfsveintil B des linken   Strahlrades a in der Schliesslage gesperrt, während das Hauptventil b offen oder geschlossen sein kann. 



     Selbstverständlich können   auf die beschriebene Weise mehr als zwei Maschinen oder auch Gruppen von Maschinen miteinander gekuppelt sein. Auch ist die dargestellte Anordnung nur als ein Ausführungsbeispiel anzusehen. Die Kupplung könnte durch Zugvorrichtungen, durch Zahnradtrieb od. dgl. ebenfalls bewirkt werden Auch könnte für je zwei Maschinen ein einziges Hilfsventil angeordnet sein, das den Wasserzulauf in der einen Endstellung zu der einen und in der anderen Endstellung zu der anderen Strahlturbine öffnet.
