Fig. 1 die Aufbringevorrichtung in Ansicht, Fig. 2 die Art der Aufbringung.

Device for applying and removing the barrel jacket from pneumatic tires.
The present invention relates to those known devices for removing and placing pneumatic tires on vehicle wheels, which devices consist of a telescopically extendable lever and an adjustable crosspiece that carries the devices used to detect the pneumatics.
The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the foot piece of the application device is set up to be adjustable in order to enable the transverse stitch to be fixed in any angular position to the rim.
In the drawing shows:
1 shows the application device in view, FIG. 2 shows the type of application.
The device consists in a known manner of a telescopic pull-out
EMI1.1
which is provided with the hook-shaped lugs and rollers used to engage and unroll the pneumatics.
EMI1.2
However, it can also be used as a handle, consists of a T-shaped casting, which is provided with a shoulder 31 and an adjusting screw 32. This foot piece is pushed onto the lever 10 by means of a sleeve 33.
This foot piece is now handled in such a way that after fastening the lever 3 to the hub of the spiraled wheel and after placing the cross piece 11 on the pneumatic system, the wheel with the entire device is rotated until the foot piece 80 rests on the ground. The screw 32 is now adjusted so that there is a good support. The person handling the device now turns the wheel towards himself by gripping the spokes, whereby the pneumatic system is lifted all around. The foot piece 30 secures the cross piece in the given angular position to the rim so that the pneumatic system is prevented from sliding off the device.
