15#6 Teile Dichlordianisidin werden mit 6#9 Teilen Natriumnitrit und der nötigen Menge Salzsäure diazotiert und die, wenn nötig filtrierte Lösung in eine mit Eis gekühlte Lösung von 16 Teilen 13-Naphtol und 14 Teilen Natronlauge 3 5 Bé in 250 Teilen Wasser, der noch 6 Teile Soda zugesetzt wurden, einfliessen gelassen. Der vollständig ausgeschiedene Farbstoff wird abfiltriert, gewaschen und vorteilhaft als Paste verwendet. Es empfiehlt sich, der ss-Naphtollösung noch Türkischrotöl oder ähnlich wirkende Mittel, wie z. B. Seife, zuzusetzen.
