Description

Fastening device protected against oxidation and moisture for cladding damp and foggy rooms.

So far, wood paneling has been used almost exclusively as cladding for roofs and walls. However, these have proven to be suitable for rooms in which the air has a high level of humidity, e.g. dye works, insofar as the cladding is completely rotten after 5-6 years due to the high moisture content of the air.

Another problem that is felt to be very unpleasant, especially in dye works, is that in these rooms, as a result of the moisture absorption of the wood, the metal parts used to fasten the cladding, i.e. nails. Rust off screws and the like very quickly. so that the individual parts of the cladding fall off after a short time and at the same time rust droplets form on the metal fastening parts, which drip onto the objects to be colored and damage the goods quite severely.

That is why a larger number of workers are always required

Hard rubber, or the like. Existing pad a arranged in rosette shape, which is held by nails or screws e driven into the rafters or into the beams of the walls.
 EMI2.1
Serving recess g is arranged, which is expediently also filled with a sealing putty before the screw bolt is inserted, into which the screw head is pressed wedge k inserted into a dovetail-shaped groove of the rosette, which wedge can consist of the same material as the rosette, tightly closed.

In this way it is definitely prevented that moisture can get to the nail or screw bolt and rust can form there.

If the cladding is used for vent pipes, the screw bolt can be continuous so that the vent pipe can be clad on two sides and this cladding is held in an analogous manner by means of rosettes lying opposite one another.
