Staubring für Achsbüchsen von Eisenbahnfahrzeugen.
Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Staubring für Eisenbahnfahrzeuge, der das Rindringen von Staub und Flugsand verhindern soll. Derartige Vorrichtungen sind zwar schon in vielen Ausführungsformen bekannt, aber trotzdem noch immer verbesserungsbedüftig, weil entweder beim Nachspannen des Dichtungsringes an der Trennungsstelle geringe Öffnungen nicht vollständig vermieden werden können oder weil die Herstellung der Vorrichtung umständli'h und deshalb kostspielig ist. Diese Nachstellvorrichtungen haben den Nachteil, dass beim Zusammenziehen des Dichtungsringes dessen Enden sich übereinander schieben, wodurch sich an dieser Stelle eine Öffnung zwischen der Dichtungsfläche und dem Umfange der Achse bildet.
Schon die kleinste Öffnung aber ermöglicht den Eintritt von Staub und Flugsand. Hei Staubringcn ist hauptsächlich darauf zu sehen, dass die Berührung der Achse mit Metallteilen vollständig vermieden wird und besonders dass der Dichtungsring unter allen Umständen auf seiner ganzen Fläche die Achse berührt. Wird bei den Staubringen die Nachstellung auf dem ganzen Umfang durch eine umgelegte Feder bewirkt, so kann bei vollständigem Verschleiss des dichtenden Teiles
