Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung umfasst ein allgemeines Verfahren für die Herstellung po- lyedrischer Silsesquioxane. Das Verfahren zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass ein aus der Gruppe der Silane und Silsesquioxan-Harze ausgewählter Präkursor für die Synthese polyedrischer Silsesquioxane in einem organischen Lösungsmittel oder in einer Lösungsmittelmischung gelöst wird, dass der Lösung ein organisches oder anorganisches Hydrogendifluorid als saurer Katalysator für die Herstellung der po- lyedrischen Silsesquioxane gegebenenfalls mit einem Polyether und/oder Wasser zugegeben wird und dass dann das erhaltene Gemisch zwischen einer Stunde und10 Tagen refluxiert wird, bevor die Silsesquioxane isoliert und die Katalysatorrück- stände mit Wasser abgewaschen werden.
