Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Brandschutzverglasung umfassend wenigstenszwei benachbarte Brandschutzscheiben, die vorzugsweise jeweils aus wenigstenszwei mittels eines randseitig umlaufenden Abstandshalteprofils aneinandergehaltenen Glasscheiben aufgebaut sind, wobei die Brandschutzscheiben an einerihrer Seitenkanten unter Ausbildung einer Fuge auf Stoß zueinander angeordnet sindund die Fuge mittels einer Dichtmasse verschlossen ist, welche dadurchgekennzeichnet ist, dass die Dichtmasse ausschließlich zwischen miteinanderfluchtenden Glasscheiben unter Ausbildung zweier Dichtungsstege vorgesehen undder dabei zwischen den Brandschutzscheiben gebildete Hohlraum weitestgehend mitLuft gefüllt ist.
