Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Leuchtengehäuse für mindestens ein Leuchtmittel (5a), mit einem Gehäuseträger (2), welcher eine Vertiefungsrinne (2d) und zwei entlang der Seitenwände der Vertiefungsrinne (2d) ausgebildete Rinnennuten (2b) aufweist, einer Leuchtmittelhalterung (5) zur Aufnahme von einem oder mehreren Leuchtmitteln (5a), welche in der Vertiefungsrinne (2d) angeordnet ist, einer Leuchtmittelabdeckung (3), welche über der Vertiefungsrinne (2d) angeordnet ist, und deren Randbereiche in die zwei Rinnennuten (2b) eingreifen, und zwei ersten Dichtmitteln (8b), welche in den Rinnennuten (2b) zwischen dem Gehäuseträger (2) und der Leuchtmittelabdeckung (3) angeordnet sind, und welche einen Leuchtmittelraum (9b) zwischen der Leuchtmittelabdeckung (3) und der Vertiefungsrinne (2d) spritzwasser- und/oder staubgeschützt gegen die Außenwelt abschirmen. Weiterhin bezieht sich die Erfindung auf eine Leuchte mit einem derartigen Leuchtengehäuse.
