Abstract

Eine Abscheidekartusche (12) für eine medizinische Absauganlage (11) zum Abscheiden von Feststoffen aus einem Gemisch weist eine Sedimentationskammer (120) auf. Um die Sedimentationswirkung zu verbessern wird die Sedimentationskammer (120) zumindest teilweise von einem Verteilerelement (164) begrenzt, das mindestens einen Durchgang (172) aufweist, der derart ausgebildet ist, dass Gemisch, welches den mindestens einen Durchgang (172) durchtritt und in die erste Sedimentationskammer (120) eintritt, dort gesammeltes Gemisch in eine um eine Längsachse kreisende Strömung versetzt.
