Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Reinigen von aus Sulfitzelluloseablaugen oder anderen ähnlichen Flüssigkeiten erhaltenem Alkohol. Dieser Alkohol enthält mehrere Verunreinigungen, die in auf gewöhnliche Weise hergestelltem Alkohol nicht vorhanden sind, und erfordert deshalb ein anderes Reinigungsverfahren als letzterer.
Die aus der Sulfitablauge oder ähnlicher Lauge erhaltene Alkohollösung enthält Verunreinigungen, wie schweflige Säure, organische Säuren, Aldehyde, Ketone und andere flüchtige Substanzen. Diese Verunreinigungen müssen in erforderlichem Grad entfernt werden, damit der Alkohol die für gewisse Zwecke erforderliche Reinheit erhält.
Man kann. wie bekannt, entweder aus dem kouzentrierten Spiritus durch fraktionierte Destillation oder direkt aus der dünnen Alkohollösung bei deren Destillation solche Stoffe abscheiden, die einen höheren oder niedrigeren Siedepunkt haben als der Spiritus.

The present invention relates to a method of purifying alcohol obtained from sulphite cellulose waste liquors or other similar liquids.
