Abstract
Ein Außenstellengerät enthält einen Außenstellen-Uhrenoszillator mit einer verhältnismäßig geringen Präzision, einen Empfänger, der Zeitpakete empfängt, die periodisch vom Zentralstellengerät aus über den Satellit übertragen werden, wobei jedes Zeitpaket einen Zentralstellen- Echtzeituhr(RTC)-Wert und einen Zentralstellen-Netzwerkuhrreferenz(NCR)- Wert aufweist, einen Außenstellen-RTC-Zähler, der einen Außenstellen-RTCWert an der Außenstelle darstellt, einen Außenstellen-NCR-Zähler, der einen Außenstellen-NCR-Wert an der Außenstelle darstellt, und Verarbeitungsschaltungen, die den Zentralstellen-RTC-Wert und den Zentralstellen-NCR-Wert aus einem aktuellen Zeitpaket extrahieren, Inhalte des aktuellen Zeitpakets mit Inhalten eines zuvor empfangenen Zeitpakets vergleichen und den Außenstellen-RTC-Zähler auf Basis des Ergebnisses des Vergleichs anpassen, um den Außenstellen-RTC-Wert an der Außenstelle mit dem Zentralstellen-RTC-Wert zu synchronisieren.
