Description
The invention relates to a method for the dynamic calculation of gas flows in a wiring harness, in particular in intake or exhaust ducts of internal combustion engines, wherein components and pipe parts are modeled by a series of model volumes and model throttles.
All component models of a wiring harness have a volume and pressure loss calculation. It is known to use a sequence of model chokes model volumes in one-dimensional charge exchange programs for the dynamic calculation of mass flows. In this case, in conventional approaches for the fast calculation of gas flows in the area of the automotive charge cycle, the gas dynamics are not resolved during a work cycle, but the mass flows are averaged over the time scale of a working cycle ("mean value models"). The individual components and pipe sections are represented in a simplified manner by a sequence of model volumes and model throttles (FIG. 1). This one - for example in Guzella L.; Onder C.H., "Introduction to Modeling and Control of Internal Combustion Engine Systems", Springer Verlag, 2004, S21-118, is also commonly used to simulate exhaust aftertreatment systems in real time. In particular, in complex line strands with a large number of components, however, a high computational effort is required, which makes a real-time evaluation difficult or only possible with very powerful processors.
The object of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to enable a real-time calculation with little effort.
According to the invention this is achieved in that several components and / or pipe parts are summarized in the wiring harness to a component group, wherein the component group is assigned a single model volume and / or a single model throttle.
Preferably, the wiring harness is modeled by a plurality of successively arranged component groups, wherein each component group is assigned only one model volume and / or only one model throttle.
Thus, the gas mass flows in the wiring harness and / or component groups may be calculated based on model volumes and / or model throttles. The number of model throttles and model volumes is much lower than in known methods. This makes it possible to significantly reduce the computational effort and thus the computation time in comparison to known methods, whereby real-time computation becomes possible with comparatively simple hardware.
At branching nodes, muzzle nodes and / or crossing nodes of the wiring harness, respectively, a boundary of successive component groups must be defined.
In the case of an inlet and outlet line, the ambient pressure and ambient temperature are set instead of another model volume. Thus, the environment forms the first (in the case of an inlet line) and the last (in the case of an outlet line) model volume.
Particularly important for a sufficiently high accuracy of the method is a coordination between the model throttles or model volumes of the abstracted component groups and the real components.
After the gas mass flow and the enthalpy flow have been determined in the respective calculation time step in the component group as described above, they are thus used as input variables in detailed models of the components. In these detailed models of each component of the component group, the pressure loss, the heat loss or the heat balance and / or the reaction conversion is calculated and transferred as input variables to the next component of the component group. In this case, the mass flow in each component of the component group remains the same in the considered calculation time step. Finally, the sum of all calculated pressure losses of the individual components of the component group is compared with the pressure loss of the model throttle of the component group and corrected in the event of a deviation, the model throttle or the model throttle throttle equation based on a parameter adjustment. For example, the adjusted parameters may be tuning parameters to match the model throttle to the components of the respective model components.
Furthermore, the sum of the heat balances of the components of the component group is added to the enthalpy flow behind the model choke.
The method according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to FIG.
Es zeigen schematisch Fig. 1 eine nach einem bekannten Verfahren erfolgende Modellierung eines Leitungsstranges, Fig. 2 eine nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren erfolgende Modellierung dieses Leitungsstranges, Fig. 3 eine nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren erfolgende Modellierung eines weiteren Leitungsstranges und Fig. 4 eine Zusammenfassung von Komponenten zu Komponentengruppen gemäß dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren und die in den zugehörigen Komponentenmodellen berechneten Größen.1 shows a modeling of a cable line according to a known method, FIG. 2 a modeling of this cable line according to the invention, FIG. 3 a modeling of a further cable line according to the invention, and FIG. 4 a summary of components to component groups according to the method of the invention and the calculated in the associated component models sizes.
Fig. La shows a wiring harness 1, for example, an exhaust duct of an internal combustion engine, wherein the wiring harness 1 of several components, namely components B - for example, oxidation catalyst DOC, diesel particulate filter DPF and SCR catalyst SCR - and pipe parts R consists. For rapid dynamic calculation of the gas mass flows by means of one-dimensional charge exchange programs, the wiring harness 1 is usually modeled by assigning a model volume V and a model throttle D to each component, as shown in the equivalent circuit diagram shown in FIG. 1b. For the wiring harness shown in Fig. La with a total of seven components consisting of pipe parts B and components R in the equivalent circuit diagram of Fig. Lb thus seven model volumes V and seven model throttles D are required, which must be consecutively calculated. Especially with complex line systems, the real-time calculation encounters limits limited by the hardware used.
Wie im in Fig. 2b gezeigten Ersatzschaltbild gezeigt ist, wird der ersten Komponentengruppe KG1 eine ersteFig. 2a shows the same wiring harness 1, including components as in Fig. La, wherein for rapid dynamic calculation of the gas mass flows components Bl, B2 and pipe parts RI, R2 are combined to form component groups KG1 and KG2. In the present case, on the one hand the components Bl oxidation catalyst DOC and diesel particulate filter DPF, together with the incoming or outgoing pipe parts RI to a first component group KG1, and on the other hand the component B2 SCR catalyst SCR and the adjacent pipe parts R2 combined to form a second component group KG2. As shown in the equivalent circuit shown in Fig. 2b, the first component group KG1 becomes a first one
Model throttle Dl and a first model volume VI, and the second component group KG2 assigned a second model throttle D2. The model volume of the second component group KG2 is replaced by the environment U, using ambient pressure and ambient temperature.
Fig. 3a shows another wiring harness 1 with components B and pipe parts R, wherein a line 3 branches off from the wiring harness 1 in a branch node 2. The first component group KG1 includes the first three components Bl together with adjacent pipe parts RI. The second component group KG2 is composed of the components B2 and the adjacent pipe parts R2. The third component group KG3 is formed by the components B3 together with adjoining pipe parts R3. The boundary between the first component group KG1 and the second component group KG2 is determined by the branch node 2. The component B3 in the exemplary embodiment is a component with particularly temperature-sensitive properties, for which reason the boundary between the second component group KG2 and the third component group KG3 is placed upstream of the component B3. In Fig. 3b, the equivalent circuit of the component groups KG1, KG2, and KG3 is shown. The first component group KG1 is model throttle Dl and model volume VI, the second component group KG2 model throttle D2 and model volume V2, and the third component group KG3 is the model throttle D3 assigned. The model volume of the third component group KG3 is replaced by the environment U.
Der Enthalphiestrom H wird dabei beispielsweise wie folgt berechnet:Fig. 4 shows in detail the modeling of components B and pipe parts R according to the proposed method. Of the preceding component group, not shown in Fig. 4, the input quantities of gas mass flow m and enthalpy flow H are adopted. The enthalpy flow H is calculated, for example, as follows:
Dabei steht i für die jeweilige Spezies in der molekularen Zusammensetzung des Abgases, für den Molenstrom der i-ten Spezies und cp,, für die molare Wärmekapazität der i-ten Spezies.I stands for the respective species in the molecular composition of the exhaust gas, for the molar flow of the ith species and cp ,, for the molar heat capacity of the ith species.
Each component Bi and each pipe part Ri have a certain pressure loss Δρ and a certain heat balance Q, which are calculated. The model throttle Di is then correctly selected if the sum of the individual pressure losses Δρ corresponds to the pressure loss Δρ0 of the model throttle Di. As a pressure loss equation of the model throttle Di, for example, an empirical function of the pressure loss ApD can be used as a function of the flow velocity v, for example:
Die Summe der Wärmebilanzen Q der Bauteile Bi und Rohrteile Ri wird zum Enthalpiestrom H stromabwärts der Modelldrossel Dl addiert.where k and x represent tuning parameters to match the model throttle Di to the components of the component group KGi. The sum of the heat balances Q of the components Bi and pipe parts Ri is added to the enthalpy flow H downstream of the model throttle Dl.
Characterized in that components arranged one behind the other are combined to form component groups KGI, KG2, KG3, KGi and each component group KGI, KG2, KG3, KGi is assigned a model throttle Dl, D2, D3, Di and / or a model volume VI, V2, Vi the computational effort and thus the computing time are significantly reduced in comparison to known methods, whereby real-time computation becomes possible with comparatively simple hardware.
