Abstract

Es wurde eine eigene Produktionstechnik entwickelt, um Goldbarren (0,5 g und 1,0) g in Plastikkarten im Kreditkartenformat integrieren zu können. Die Idee ist aus dem Bedürfnis entstanden, fragile Goldbarren kleiner Stückelungen in ein ansprechendes Geschenkartikel mit bleibendem Wert zu verwandeln. Goldbarren dieser Große ist aufgrund der Materialbeschaffenheit anfällig für Verformung und Abnutzung. Aus diesem Grund musste ein Verfahren entwickelt werden, welchen den Goldbarren in die Geschenkkarte sichtbar integriert und gleichzeitig schützt. Das Verfahren soll in Folge am Standort in Salzburg angewandt werden. Dadurch ist der Goldbarren von beiden Selten aus sichtbar nicht wie bei Bankomatkarten, wo der Chip in einen ausgefrästen Bereich eingesetzt wird. Ein weiterer Unterschied ist, dass bei Bankomatkarten der Chip mit einem speziellen Kleber angebracht wird, der jedoch nicht an Goldbarren haftet.
