Modellhalter.

Model holder.
The invention relates to a model holder whose desk top can be set in any position relative to the table, so that the model can be presented to the draftsman in any position.
The drawing shows the exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a side view, FIG. 2 shows a front view, FIGS. 3 and 4 each have an upper view and FIG. 5 shows a side view with the plate folded over.
The model holder is designed in such a way that it can be adjusted and rotated both in the vertical and horizontal direction and around the axis of the guide rod intended to support the model holder and also around the central axis of the desk top, whereby it can be fixed at any angle of inclination and in any inclined position can be done. By virtue of this adjustability of the model holder it is possible to show the student and draftsman an object in plan, side and floor plan and also other z. B. to show animal models in flight, sitting, in attack position, etc. in the most natural position, as well as to demonstrate any body in any position comfortably and thus to facilitate its graphic reproduction.
According to the drawing, the model holder consists of an angle bar a - b, that is, a one-armed lever on which a plate c is arranged. The rod tb is screwed to the bench, table, etc. by means of a clamp d. The rod a can be moved in the clamp and clamped as high or low as desired, so that the model can be illustrated in any height position. The plate c is arranged displaceably on the angle arm b with a clamp e and can be screwed or clamped at any desired distance from the vertical center axis of the rod end a. The plate c with the clamp e is rotatable about the axis of the rod end b and by arranging a pivot pin g, which sits firmly on the clamp e, the plate c is also rotatable about the axis of this pivot pin.
It is thus achieved that a model attached to the desk plate c with the plate around
EMI1.1
can be moved around the axis of the vertical guide rod. The plate c and the model attached to it can, as a result of the rotation around the axis of the rod a and the movability (lit on the rod b describe larger or smaller circles (Fig. 3 dashed) Pivot pin g is rotatable, one side or edge of the plate can be set parallel to the front edge of the table or ball surface in each position of the arm b (Fig. 4, dashed).
With this adjustability it is achieved that the model can be brought closer to or removed from the eye in any position. By virtue of the rotatability of the clamp e on the rod h, the plate can be brought into a vertical position at any angle of inclination to the table surface (FIG. 5), so that the eye can e.g. B. the model is presented in plan. In this position, the model can also be rotated around the axis of rod a.
Advantageously, a rear wall 'is easily removable or arranged by means of a hinge on the plate c, as is a hook or a similar device for attaching the models.
Instead of as shown, the arms a and b can also be made from two parts and fastened together in a suitable manner in order to achieve the same purpose. Likewise can
EMI1.2
Models can wear. The arms can then also be slidable on the rod individually and independently of one another.
