Abstract

Eine optische Vorrichtung zum Authentifizieren von Wertgegenständen, wobei die optische Vorrichtung Folgende beinhaltet: eine erste diffraktive Struktur zum Erzeugen eines ersten diffraktiven Bilds; eine zweite diffraktive Struktur zum Erzeugen eines zweiten diffraktiven Bilds; und eine nicht diffraktive Struktur; wobei die ersten und die zweiten diffraktiven Strukturen und die nicht diffraktive Struktur relativ zueinander angeordnet sind, sodass, wenn sie aus einem ersten Winkel betrachtet werden, sowohl das erste als auch das zweite diffraktive Bild sichtbar sind, und, wenn sie aus einem zweiten Winkel betrachtet werden, das erste diffraktive Bild sichtbar ist, während das zweite diffraktive Bild nicht sichtbar ist. Die ersten und/oder zweiten diffraktiven Strukturen sind auf der nicht diffraktiven Struktur ausgebildet, sodass, wenn sie aus einem ersten Winkel betrachtet werden, sowohl die ersten als auch zweiten diffraktiven Bilder sichtbar sind, und, wenn sie aus dem zweiten Winkel betrachtet werden, das erste diffraktive Bild sichtbar ist, während die zweite diffraktive Struktur von der nicht diffraktiven Struktur verdeckt wird.
