Abstract

Ein Scharnier (1 ), insbesondere für Möbel oder Haushaltsgeräte, umfasst ein erstes Scharnierteil (2), das einen Halter (3) und einen verschwenkbar an dem Halter (3) gelagerten Scharnierarm (4) aufweist, und ein zweites Scharnierteil (6) mit einer Aufnahme (9), in die ein Endabschnitt des Scharnierarmes (4) einsteckbar ist, wobei ein Rastmechanismus (14, 18, 20) vorgesehen ist, um den Scharnierarm (4) an dem zweiten Scharnierteil (6) zu verriegeln, wobei der Rastmechanismus eine in die verriegelte Position vorgespannte Klinke (18) umfasst, die in einer Montageposition vor der Verriegelungsposition von einer Oberfläche (22) an dem Scharnierarm (4) hervorsteht. Dadurch wird die Montage des ersten Scharnierteils (2) an dem zweiten Scharnierteil (6) vereinfacht und eine Verriegelung der Scharnierteile (2, 6) miteinander sicherstellt.
