Abstract

Es wird eine Belüftungsvorrichtung für einen Helm beschrieben. Um eine derartige Belüftungsvorrichtung zu schaffen, die zur Aufrechterhaltung der physiologischen Leistungsfähigkeit des Helmträgers einen gezielten Abtransport der feuchten Helminnenluft ermöglicht, ohne dabei aerodynamische Einbußen in Kauf nehmen zu müssen wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Belüftungsvorrichtung einen Strömungskanal (1) umfasst, der einen zur Vorderseite (2) hin offenen Eingang (3) und einen zur Rückseite (4) hin offenen Ausgang (5) aufweist, wobei sich der Eingang (3) vorderseitig zur Beschleunigung der eintretenden Luftströmung verjüngt und sich der Ausgang (5) rückseitig zur Abbremsung der Luftströmung auf Einströmgeschwindigkeitsniveau erweitert und wobei sich im Strömungskanal (1) vom Übergangsbereich (6) zwischen Eingang (3) und Ausgang (5) in Strömungsrichtung als Strömungsverbindung zum Belüftungsbereich (8) eine bündig mit der Strömungskanalwand abschließende Membran (7) erstreckt, die eine Strömungsleitfläche zur Ausbildung einer laminaren Strömung bildet.
