 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

Hat needle point safeguards are already known which consist of an elastic cushion attached to the inside of the hat, which is attached to a base plate which is impenetrable for the hat needle point. It is also known to equip the hat with guides for the needle to be pierced. The present invention forms a combination of these two devices and consists in the fact that the cushion is provided with a guide sleeve for the hat pin to be inserted into the opposite cushion.

The drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention; It shows: FIG. 1 a cross section through a woman's hat with attached hat protection. Fig. 2 is a partial section along the line A-B of Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a side view of the tip protector.

4 shows a view of the hat protector from the inside of the hat, FIG. 5 shows a partial view of the hat protector from the inside. with an embodiment for preventing the dropout of the hat pins.

Between the hat 1 and the lining 2, the cushions 7 are fastened in a known manner to the inside of the hat diagonally opposite by means of the backing plates 3 which are impenetrable for the hat pins 4 and 5. The plate 3 is provided with tabs 6 with which the cushion 7 is held. which consists of a material into which the tips 10 and 11 of the needles 4 and o can penetrate. According to the invention, the sleeves 8 are attached to the plate J. Which

   can be pushed.

The hat needles 4 and 5 are provided in a known manner with double-conical tips 10 and 11 and are made of an elastic material by the strips 12 and 1. 3. which are attached to the lining 2 and upstream corresponding to the guides. pushed through. which prevents the hat pins from falling out. According to FIG. 5, the failure of the hat needles is expediently prevented by opening the guides after the needles have been pierced. be clamped together at the end opposite the plate 3. 14 forms the set of the hat.

After putting on the hat, the hat pins are through the set, the hat. through the liingliche opening. 9 or through the sleeves 8 and the upstream. elastic strips and, after further advancement, penetrate through the lining on the opposite sides into the panels 7 and are prevented from advancing further through the panels 1. By pushing it into the plate 7, the hat is fastened sufficiently so that it is not necessary. to pierce the hat pins on the other side through the hat or its set. which means that both the hat and the furniture are considerably spared.
