  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Kontrollzeichen auf Dokumenten. 



   Das den Erfindungsgegenstand bildende Verfahren zum Aufbringen von Kontrollzeichen auf allen Arten von   öffentlichen   und privaten Dokumenten ermöglicht es in sicherer Weise, die Echtheit dieser Dokumente zu erweisen und infolgedessen eine Nachahmung derselben zu verhindern. Die dem Verfahren gemäss erhaltenen Kontrollzeichen bleiben auf dem Dokument unsichtbar, bis sie sichtbar gemacht werden sollen, so dass, da es wahrscheinlich ist, dass der Besitzer des Dokumentes von der Existenz der Kontrollmarken nichts weiss, dieselbe aber dem Aussteller bekannt ist, der letztere immer ein Mittel zu seiner Verfügung hat, die Echtheit des von ihm ausgestellten Dokumentes zu prüfen. 



   Das Verfahren besteht im Wesen darin, mittels der Lithographie, der Typographie oder irgend eines anderen mechanischen oder mit der Hand auszuführenden Reproduktionverfahrens die gewünschten Kontrollzeichen aufzudrucken, und zwar mittels einer aus einem Gemisch von Zinkoxyd und einem trocknenden Öl bestehenden Tinte. Das Öl dient der Tinte als Vehikel und verleiht dieser die entsprechende Konsistenz. Bei der Herstellung geht man am besten derart vor, dass man feinst verteiltes Zinkoxyd, sogenanntes Zinkweiss, mit   farblosem Buchdruckerfirnis   innigst vermengt, so dass eine gleichförmige Emulsion von der Konsistenz der Buchdruckfarbe entsteht. 



   Das aufgedruckte Kontrollzeichen bleibt auf dem Dokument unsichtbar. Wenn es sich darum handelt, die Echtheit des Dokumentes nachzuweisen, so genügt es, das Dokument an der Stelle, wo das Kontrollzeichen aufgebracht wurde, mit einem Gegenstand aus Silber, Gold oder Kupfer oder aus einer Legierung dieser Metalle zu reiben, wodurch das Kontrollzeichen sichtbar wird. 



   Die Dokumente können eine beliebige Anzahl dieser liontrollzeichen entweder auf einer oder auf mehreren Stellen desselben Dokumentes enthalten. Sie können aus einem oder mehreren Buchstaben, Ziffern, Inschriften, Zeichnungen usw. allein oder miteinander kombiniert bestehen.

   The method, which forms the subject of the invention, for applying control marks to all types of public and private documents makes it possible in a secure manner to prove the authenticity of these documents and consequently to prevent their being copied. The control marks obtained according to the procedure remain invisible on the document until they are to be made visible, so that since it is probable that the owner of the document does not know about the existence of the control marks, but the issuer is aware of the same, the latter always does has a means at his disposal to check the authenticity of the document he has issued.



   Essentially, the process consists in printing the desired control marks by means of lithography, typography or any other mechanical or hand reproduction process, using an ink consisting of a mixture of zinc oxide and a drying oil. The oil serves as a vehicle for the ink and gives it the appropriate consistency. The best way to manufacture the product is to mix finely divided zinc oxide, so-called zinc white, with colorless letterpress varnish, so that a uniform emulsion with the consistency of letterpress ink is created.



   The printed control mark remains invisible on the document. When it comes to proving the authenticity of the document, it is sufficient to rub the document at the point where the control mark was applied with an object made of silver, gold or copper or an alloy of these metals, whereby the control mark becomes visible becomes.



   The documents can contain any number of these liontroll characters either in one or in several places of the same document. They can consist of one or more letters, numbers, inscriptions, drawings, etc., alone or in combination.
