Abstract
Ein System zum Erfassen einer Durchflussrate oder eines Füllstands eines Fluids (2) oder des Vorhandenseins eines Objekts, wie eines Molches (PIG) (101), in Rohrleitungen (1), das zumindest eine Erfassungsvorrichtung (3) aufweist, die umfasst: eine Sensoranordnung (7), die angeordnet ist, um die Durchflussrate oder den Füllstand eines Fluids (2) innerhalb eines Abschnitts einer Rohrleitung (1) oder das Vorhandensein eines Molches (101), der sich entlang des Abschnitts einer Rohrleitung (1) befindet, an dem sich die Vorrichtung (3) befindet, zu erfassen, einen Leistungsspeicher, ein Positionsbestimmungsmodul, einen Funkfrequenzempfänger (16) und einen Funkfrequenzsender (16), wobei die Erfassungsvorrichtung (3) einen Ruhemodus hat, in dem die Sensoranordnung (7) inaktiv ist und einen ersten Leistungsverbrauch hat, und einen aktiven Modus, in dem die Sensoranordnung (7) aktiv ist und die Erfassungsvorrichtung (3) eine zweiten höheren Leistungsverbrauch hat, wenn die Sensoranordnung (7) der Vorrichtung (3) aktiv erfasst, wobei die Vorrichtung (3) in dem aktiven Modus auch angeordnet ist zum Senden von Signalen von dem Sender (16), die die erfasste Eigenschaft des Fluids (2) oder das Vorhandensein einer Vorrichtung (101) entlang des Abschnitts der Rohrleitung (1) anzeigen; und wobei die Vorrichtung (3) konfiguriert ist zum Schalten zwischen dem Ruhemodus und dem aktiven Modus in Reaktion auf von dem Empfänger (16) empfangener Funkfrequenzsignale.
