EMI1.1
Individual processes have already become known for producing polishing compounds, for example consisting of carnauba wax, beeswax and paraffin and soda or potash, in such a way that they could be marketed in powder form. All of these types of polishing powder, which can be made smokable with the help of hot water, have the disadvantage that, when used as a polishing compound, they gradually darken the wood of the parquet and the structure of the wood is lifted. Even by adding borax it cannot be achieved. that wax types remain bound to one another during production of the liquid consistency.
These disadvantages are eliminated by the method forming the subject of the present invention, in that a mineral wax, namely montan wax, is used as the base material. Apart from the economic advantage over the other types of wax used, such as carnauba wax or beeswax, montan wax has the advantage that, on the one hand, the wood does not darken even when the polish is used more often and, on the other hand, polishes that dry quickly and give an easily achievable, moist wipeable gloss are produced can.
The essence of the process is that mineral or earth waxes, in particular montan wax with stearin, are powdered after mixing and then processed using kneading and mixing machines with the aid of ammonia and borax, i.e. H. thoroughly kneaded and mixed and finally air-dried in order to dissipate the smell of the smelly spirit.
The polishes produced in this way and dispatched in powder form can be used by the consumer to produce well-bound, thin and viscous, pasta and cream-like polishes himself by distribution in hot water.
On a factory scale, these can also be made with cold water on so-called Farl graters.
Such powdery polishes can be used for various purposes, eg. B. as wood polish, for l'olierzwecken for linoleum, leather, left rust, metals, glass and the like .. for
