Spring-loaded current switch for electrical switches.
The invention relates to a resilient circuit breaker for electrical switches and consists in the fact that the spring used to short-circuit the two fixed switch contacts forms a single self-contained piece, which by bending one
EMI1.1
The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention, namely FIG. 1 shows a switch in section, while FIG. 2 shows a bottom view.
To short-circuit the fixed contacts b arranged in the switch housing a, a contact spring c is used, which has the shape of a cross and consists of a single self-contained piece. This contact spring is most expediently produced in such a way that a short piece of copper pipe is cut off and a ring is thereby obtained. This ring is then bent together according to the shape shown in FIG. 2, in which two longer and two shorter cross arms are opposite one another. The contact spring c is inserted between the four rods of a square y, which is loosely located at the end of a shaft h which is rotatably mounted in the switch housing a and provided with a handle 9.
A pin i inserted through the handle shaft h, which hits the rods d when the handle is rotated, takes the square f with it, which is opened or closed in a known manner by springs j. Switch-on position is held. Between the contact spring c and the pin i there is a support plate k, against which a helical spring l, resting at its other end on the square f, presses in order to prevent the handle from shaking.
In the position of the switch illustrated in FIG. 2, the fixed contact pieces b are conductively connected to one another by the current circuit spring. If the handle is turned by 900, the short arms of the power supply spring come to rest in front of the fixed contact pieces, so that the power circuit is interrupted. The bars d of the square are rounded so that they snap in easily and securely. The switch shown ensures good contact due to the strong suspension, is permanent, easy to dismantle and works completely the same in both directions of rotation.
