Verfahren zur Isolierung von Indigoleuko-Alkalisalzen.
In Verfolg des Verfahrens des Stammpatentes Nr. 50510 wurde gefunden, dass man nicht nur aus den Indigoschmelzen der Körper vom Typus des Phenylglyzins, sondern auch aus den Indigoschmelzen der Körper vom Typus der Phenylglyzin-o-karbonsäure und deren Äquivalenten (wie z. B. Methylanthranilsäure usw. ) Indigoleukosalze auf dem in dem Stammpatente beschriebenen Wege erhalten kann. Die so erhaltenen Indigoleukosalzo bestehen teilweise aus Indoxylalkali, teilweise aus indoxylkarbonsaurem Alkali. Auch bei diesen Schmelzen gelang es seither nicht, Indoxyl oder Indoxylkarbonsäure zu isolieren, ohne gleichzeitig das gesamte Alkali zu zerstören (vergl. D. R. P.
Nr. 1) 5071 betreffend Gewinnung von Indoxyl oder Indoxyikarbonsäure durch Absättigen der Phenylglyzin-o-karbonsäure-Schmelze mit Säure).
Das Verfahren ist das des Stammpatentes, wie folgendes Beispiel zeigt :
100 Gewichtsteile Schmelze (erhalten durch Zusammenschmelzen von 20 Teilen Phenylglyzio-o-karbonsäure, 60 Teilen Ätzkali und 40 Teilen Wasser und Erhitzen auf

und der ausgeschiedene Kristallbrei abgepresst ; derselbe ist etwa 300/oing in bezug auf Indoxyl bzw. Indoxylkarbonsäure. Aus den Filtratlaugen können durch Luftoxydation noch wenige Prozent Indigo gewonnen werden.
An Stelle der Phenylglyzin-o-krbonsäure können auch deren Äquivalente und Analogen, wie z. B. Phenyldigiyzinkarbonsäurp, Methylanthranilsäure usw., gesetzt worden.

In pursuance of the process of the parent patent No. 50510, it was found that not only the bodies of the phenylglycine type can be obtained from the indigo melts, but also from the indigo melts the bodies of the phenylglycine-o-carboxylic acid type and their equivalents (such as B. Methylanthranilic acid, etc.) indigoleukosalze can be obtained in the way described in the parent patent. The indigoleukosalzo obtained in this way consist partly of indoxyl alkali, partly of indoxyl carboxylic acid alkali. In these melts, too, it has not been possible since then to isolate indoxyl or indoxyl carboxylic acid without destroying all of the alkali at the same time (cf. D. R. P.
