Contactor box guide for revolver looms.
The shooter boxes on turret looms are guided in a bearing on the drive base by means of a pin, while on the inner side they are only supported in a crescent-shaped bracket which only covers about half the circumference of the shooter box. This bracket is attached to the sley with a single screw in order to enable the shuttle box to be adjusted by raising and lowering or sliding the bracket sideways.
This inadequate storage of the contactor box often results in damage and malfunctions, since the shooter misses the revolver box if the position of the turret box is inaccurate and does not shoot into it at all or only partially. The consequence of this is damage to the guard, displacement of the bracket and breaking of the bearing pin and the associated downtimes of the loom.
The purpose of the present invention is to remedy these inconveniences by means of a precisely adjustable, safe guidance of the contactor box.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows a front view and FIG. 2 shows a side view of the subject matter of the invention; Fig. 3 shows a detail.
The revolver clip box a is mounted on the drive side by means of the pin b in the bearing o. In a novel manner, a disk e is adjustable in height by a screw 9 and fixedly connected to the loom drawer by several screws. This disk has a corresponding opening for shooting in the shooter and a projecting edge f all around, which surrounds the cylindrical end of the shooter box with clearance around the entire circumference. In this projecting edge f (Fig. 3) k holes are drilled for the guide balls. A cover piece h is placed over a number of balls, the position of which can be precisely adjusted and locked by means of the pairs of adjusting screws i.
In place of this deck piece h, a single ring can also be used, which surrounds the entire edge f with clearance and can also be inserted and locked by means of adjusting screws. The cylindrical end of the contactor box slides on the guide balls k.
The rough adjustment of the contactor box is done with the screw g. Then the disk e is firmly connected to the loom drawer and then the fine one takes place
Setting by means of the guide balls and their cover pieces or the comprehensive
Ring. This guide gives the contactor box a safe, easy walk and the
Box itself is inevitably led without play; Shifts in leadership and their consequences are completely ruled out.
