Method and device for drying cardboard, yarn and other goods.
The present invention relates to a drying process and drying devices in which the drying air is completely directed towards the goods to be dried in the countercurrent principle and in which, if the tunnel dryers have two or more drying channels lying one above the other, the drying goods by means of lifts arranged at the ends of the channels one channel up or into the other. be promoted down.
Such methods, which work consistently according to the countercurrent principle, and such devices which have elevators at the ends of the drying tunnels lying one above the other are known; it is also known to reheat the dry air on the path to be traversed by it in accordance with the cooling that takes place.
The known drying processes and drying devices, even those that do not work in the reverse countercurrent principle, now have the disadvantage that the dry air in its hottest state comes into contact with the dry material that is almost completely dried and thus the most sensitive to heat, while the wet one Well only comes into contact with a relatively cold air stream that is also enriched with moisture. The disadvantage resulting from the above-mentioned work of the known drying methods and drying devices is that the material to be dried suffers considerably and that, on the other hand, a comparatively long time and a large amount of heating means have to be expended to carry out the drying.
The subject matter of the present invention completely eliminates or avoids the abovementioned pollution levels, namely by the fact that the air, which is always reheated in a known manner on the path to be traversed by it in accordance with the cooling taking place, is still completely shortly after the entry of the wet goods in the relevant device, which can be designed both as a single-channel and as a multi-channel dryer. is brought to the maximum value of their temperature, so that they with this maximum temperature value with the just retracted, so completely wet and thus against the effects of heat

is formed. the air can still be reheated at that point. at which the passage from one channel into the other takes place.
Here are some special ones
EMI1.2
In the embodiment shown, a and b are the two channels through which the material to be dried has to pass. The material enters the channel a in the wet state at a1, guided in the direction of the arrows 1 and raised at the end of the channel a by means of an elevator c

Cardboard, yarn or the like. To be moved out of the device.
The dry air is here by a fan device e at f, d. H. that is, at the point at which the completely dried material leaves the device, introduced into the channel 6 and now flows in the direction of the arrows 11 towards the dry material consistently according to the countercurrent principle, with one or more parts on the way, partly on the sole, Heater batteries g, h, some of which are arranged on the ceiling, are passed and are thus continuously heated again depending on the cooling that takes place. According to the invention, further heating elements i and es are provided in the transition chamber from channel b into channel a. the air is forced through retractable sliding doors to pass through these radiators.
Finally, just behind the point of entry of the completely wet material, heating elements k are provided in such an arrangement and number that the dry air is brought to the maximum value of its temperature here, and in this state with the

comes. In this way, the goods are protected in the best possible way, the drying process is accelerated and made economical, with a saving in heating means being achieved.
