PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Steilrohrkessel, dessen Feuerungsraum zwischen zwei einen Oberkessel mit zwei Unterkesseln verbindenden Rohrbündeln liegt und durch den Einbau eines zugleich als Zuführungskanal für die Verbrennungsluft dienenden Einsatzes aus feuerfestem Material teilweise ausgefüllt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Einsatz (J) innerhalb der Kesselummaussrung als allseitig geschlossener Hohlkörper ausgebildet ist, dessen Hohlraum einer- . seits mit der Aussenluft, andererseits durch einen unter den Rost führenden Kanal mit der Feuerung verbunden ist, so dass die in den Hohlraum eintretende Luft zunächst die Wände des Einsatzes kühlt, und sodann in vorgewärmtem Zustande dem Kessel als Ver- brennnngsluft zugeführt werden kann.
