 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

In the case of so-called pipe thrust controls, it is an indispensable condition for constant, reliable functioning that the main stressed parts, i.e. the roller and the cam piece, are constantly kept under oil. This is particularly important for machines in which, as with locomotives, dust, sand and the like can reach the control valves to a large extent.

Attempts have now been made to arrange containers on valve spindles as well as on control levers within which the roll was stored. D'j containers, however, were not able to hold the filled oil for a long time, because the oil was immediately thrown out of the containers as a result of the sharp jerk-like movements of these parts.

The present invention is based on the knowledge that the oil container should not be attached to the moving parts, but rather to the moving parts. Accordingly, the roller is arranged in a manner known per se on the driving part and the cam piece on the driven part.

According to the invention, a permanent, effective oil bath is now created for the roller, in that the roller is mounted on its drive rod in a recess in the latter, which is expediently produced by milling. The pins of the roller can be stored within the rod walls that remain in addition to the cavity and the curved piece can reach into the groove-like rod recess.

The push rod makes relatively small and slow back and forth movements so that there is no risk of the oil being thrown out. In addition, special precautions can be easily taken on a horizontally moving rod. B. by

prevent rapid movements from splashing. The roll, which can be led up to the bottom of the hole with its edge, is constantly immersed in oil, takes it upwards as it rotates, distributes it over its own surface and its tenons and also gives it Oil on the curve piece.

An exemplary embodiment of the new arrangement is shown in the drawing. The figure shows a valve cover in cross section. The drive rod 16, which can be moved back and forth as desired, is mounted within it. In the longitudinal recess, the rod carries the roller 10, while a cam piece 11 extends into the recess and is seated on the valve spindle 17 loaded by the spring 18. The drive rod 16 can instead of directly in a; Bore of the valve head to be guided, received a special straight line or carried by handlebars or in some other way.
