Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

In the previously known liquid containers, in which the floor transfers the liquid pressures on it directly to the foundation supporting this floor on its lower surface and in which the walls are arched according to the support line resulting from the liquid pressure, are ring-shaped in plan Jacket the fluid pressures resting on this either by the ring pull of the jacket or partly by rings, which are arranged at any height on the jacket, mostly on the upper edge of the jacket.

It is also known to support liquid containers by means of stands connected tangentially to the outside of the container wall. which, not connected to the bottom of the container, only serve to divert the forces resulting from the liquid pressures occurring into the foundation.

According to the present invention, however, in such liquid containers the forces occurring in the struts are to be partially transferred to the container bottom. This is achieved in that the obliquely protruding struts, connected tangentially in a known manner, are connected to the pool floor by tie rods, so that the struts and the container base mutually support each other in their static effect.

The invention is illustrated schematically in some examples in the drawing.

1 shows a vertical section, FIG. 2 shows the outline of a container with the support designed according to the present invention, FIG. 3 illustrates the device in a ring container.

Everywhere the wall b, which is arched in a known manner according to the support line resulting from the fluid pressure, is supported by struts c connected tangentially at the upper edge, which are connected to the pelvic testicles by tie rods d. At
The ring basin according to FIG. 3, like the outer wall outside, is also supported inside the inner wall m by struts r which can be connected to the container bottom n by means of the tie rods d.

With these versions it can happen that the support points for the
 EMI1.2
like Bobalters occupy a relatively large area. In order to bring about a restriction in this regard, the supports, instead of being brought down to the foundation, can be supported by columns s that have been moved correspondingly close to the container wall. The tie rods connecting the struts c to the container bottom a come into an inclined position, as FIG. 4 shows.
