Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Oven door frame made from a band elf.

   The manufacture of the simple oven door frame, consisting of an octagonal iron band frame, in such a way that four individual iron band rails are brought into the rectangular connection with rivet pins, was associated with relatively high time and labor costs.

   In order to circumvent this, such cheap frames have already been produced from a single piece of band iron by bending and suitable connection of the butt ends. However, these frames have only a low level of rigidity.

   According to the invention, the frame made from a piece of band iron by bending into the rectangular shape is now stiffened by pressing ribs into the angles in the last-mentioned manner, thus achieving permanent shape retention.

   The drawing shows in Fig. 1 in a front view, in Fig. 2 in plan view of a furnace door frame, which is made from a single iron strip a by bending into the rectangular shape and stiffened in the sense of the invention by ribs r pressed into the angles.

  The rib profile can be seen from FIGS. 3 and 4, which represent sections A-B and C- of FIG.

   Of course, the ribs do not necessarily have to be in the middle of the tape; multiple ribs can also be pressed into any angle.
