  Device for turning buttons.

The invention relates to a device for turning buttons and consists in an endless conveyor belt guiding the wrongly positioned buttons around a soft-coated roller from which they are in the correct position on top of a sliding surface and from this to an endless conveyor belt reach.

This facility is intended to facilitate and speed up the sorting of the buttons after they have been completed.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the device is shown as an example, namely Fig. 1 shows a front side view with the front side winds removed, Fig. 2 shows a plan view, Fig. 3 shows a section according to FIG. 2.

The whole device is attached to a plate a lying on one table or even provided with legs. On the front side of this plate on the left is a lockable box b, which is extended at the top and serves to hold the buttons to be sorted, from which the buttons one after the other on a correspondingly wide belt running over a roller d mounted between the extended side walls c the box b e are shaken. This belt e runs freely along the front edge of the table in the direction of the arrows, then back to the roller d via rollers g, h, i, k mounted on the right front corner of the table in a protective box f in the manner shown in FIG.

The buttons lying on the belt are thus led past the place of a worker, who sorts the correctly lying buttons into four boxes 1, which are attached to both sides of the belt. The wrongly positioned buttons, on the other hand, remain on the belt e and run along with the roller y. Since the up and down running fragments of the belt e now run parallel on this roller g, the buttons moving along are turned in this way so that the previously lower side comes up; they then slide on an inclined plane m, now lying correctly, down onto a /. wide belt n, which is run at right angles to belt e and parallel to the right table line.

Boxes o are also attached to both sides of this belt n,

between the two longest fragments of the belt l, over two rollers p and q mounted on the protective box wall and on the other corner of the table via a roller r.

To prevent the buttons from breaking on the way between the belt and the pulley, the latter is covered with sponge rubber or some other soft compound. In addition, the bearings of the roller h can be moved in horizontal grooves and are under the action of springs s, which thus regulate the belt tension. The buttons are shaken up by the fact that the bottom t of the box is supported and heweghrh
