Die Gase ziehen durch diese Masse. x. provided, which are covered by a bell p in such a way that the vessel k communicates with the outer container through these holes.
EMI2.1
The holes o form the most convenient outlet for too high a retroactive pressure in the outlet pipe rn, which is canceled by these holes and the liquid in the outer container before the liquid seal of the inlet pipe is overcome, so that a reliable explosion safety seal is created.
The cleaner f (Fig. 5 and 6) expediently consists of an outer chamber 8 and an inner chamber t. The outer container is closed by a lid M and shaped in this way. that can accommodate the inner chamber t.
The latter is provided with a cylindrical or otherwise shaped column v, which is formed into a flat, round chamber w, which is cast in one piece with the column or attached to this at a suitable height.
The round chamber w has a baffle x which does not extend to the outer wall and which is supported by ribs v of the upper and lower floor of the chamber. so that the latter is divided into radial pockets above and below this plate. those on the circumference of the disc. r are in connection (Fig. 5) and the second quarter of Fig. 6. Above, the chamber e has an outlet z leading into the outer chamber s.
On the surface of the flat circular chamber w there are radial ribs l which extend against the inner surface of the wall of the outer chamber s.
The cleaner is heated, the construction of the inner chamber through which the
Gases enter, enables very effective heating of the gases, which experience a deflection and pull through the cleaner in various ways, hitting the hot ribs and protrusions.
Plates 2 made of porcelain or some other material, on which the mass acting as a catalytic agent is spread, rest on the ribs 1. The gases pull through this mass. x. B. pumice stone impregnated with palladium salt, downwards behind the outer ribs 1 and around the hollow column r in the outlet ducts 13 to the pipes g. The hot, cleaned gas and the steam formed by the combination of the gas with the impurity contribute to the further
